Right, time to delete the ol' Google+ client from my telephone. Twitter still seems to be the best social network going. Adios!

+Kevin Teljeur  Ah I'm going to focus more of my spurts to google plus, just hate using Facebook entirely. You might get some interesting subject matter from me, I'm self learning code

I'm doing some tweaking for personal preference of a modern ruleset, and I'd like to incorporate some artillery scatter and delay into it and could use some ideas. What are your favourite mechanics for artillery scatter and resolution?

If you use a d10, the face is more pointed towards a particular direction. Think I saw this first in Seven Coffins /Disposable Heroes.

This is a portacabin up by the Cabot Tower, which I learned today was built to commemorate the 400th anniversary of the discovery of the continent of North America by a Bristol crew on a Bristol ship (the plaque was quite specific) led by adoptive Bristolian John Cabot (originally Italian chancer Giovanni Chabotto). Of course we'd all be much happier if he'd found somewhere much further away to put the Yanks, but good effort nonetheless. #bristolstreetart

It's either Zuan Chabotto (Venetian, my language ;P) or Giovanni Caboto ("Italian", or more correctly Tuscan). Just sayin'!

This promo vid from West Midlands Ambulance Service gives a decent overview of how an NHS ambulance service operates, and the challenges and development goals we're currently dealing with. Minor details vary by region such as vehicles used, station distribution model, source of doctors, and funny accents, but broadly they're all similar.

Question about target numbers to Overcome the effects of somebody's Create Advantage on you.

FATE obviously handles degrees of success intrinsically in its rolling. So, sand in the eyes can be blinked away quickly, or could scratch your corneas to bits, depending on success. Disarmed could mean your gun knocked down by your feet, or going skittering across the room and going under the oven, where you'll need a bent wire coathanger to fish it out from amongst the crumbs, fluff, bit of a Christmas cracker, assorted small-denomination coins, old dishwasher tablet, johnny of indeterminate origin, and a scatter die from Warhammer 3rd edition that you were wondering where it went.

So, do we record the degree of success on the Create Advantage roll and make that the target number to Overcome? Or do we take it that the Success With Style rules handle that sort of thing anyway?

I think we just learnt much more about your kitchen than we really wanted to know. That list of things was either the remains of an unusual party or the components of a particularly gritty urban magic ritual.

This is one of my favourites. Just looks like standard scrawled vandalism, available in any city in the world... But look closer, there's an upliftingly affirmative Bristolian message. #bristolstreetart
