+Gideon Burton , +Daniel Zappala : I don't know who is going to be involved in the ongoing ebook project, but I have some feedback for you on the openness chapter from a professor here at BYU. He's a physics professor and webcomic author and he is also fairly well-versed in openness. Though you might not call him an expert, he is presenting at an open-source conference this May.

Openness group,

This post is a little late in coming, but don't forget that even with the change of direction in the class, we should still be doing some social proofing on the ebook chapter and that is still potentially a way to build interest in attending or remote viewing the event Wednesday. The day is close, but we can still do some good.

I've been accepted into the National Undergraduate Fellowship at Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory in Princeton, New Jersey! I'll be doing computational research relevant to nuclear fusion.

I've also turned down two offers from NASA.

This will be content after I tweak it into a more ebook-worthy form and focus.

+Jonathan Kunkee +Michael Larsen : I talked to someone in your group about this last week but I thought I ought to let the leaders know. In the openness group we'll be taking a look at open government, but not terribly in depth. It would be nice if you could carry on or at least reference some of the same things that we'll be discussing (specifically Obama's openness directive and Soviet glasnost).
