Come join +Ayelet Baron
, +Rawn Shah
and +Tim McDonald
, our 3 work hackers, in a conversation with our guest +Thierry de Baillon
on new ways of working.
Building on a multi-disciplinary background, as trend spotter, marketer, designer and management consultant, Thierry de Baillon spends a large part of his time with his consultancy, EsTeam, helping organizations to adapt to our world of complexity and uncertainty, and to innovate for and with customers.
Blogger, speaker, Thierry is also a member of Change Agents Worldwide, and the initiator of the Future of [Collaborative] Enterprise research project, an open laboratory trying to uncover what the future of organizations will look like in an era of hyper-connectivity.
We will be discussing the following questions:
1) Does the idea of hacking work resonate with you? Why or why not?
2) What is your scope for hacking work? (individual/personal, organization-wide, macroeconomic)
3) What is working and what is not working today? What work trends do you see? Do we need to reinvent it?
4) What happening in your world?
5) Where do think organizations should be investing their time today?
Before we close, what would you like the community to think about and continue discussing online?
RSVP & Watch the Hangout
RSVP here to let us know you’re going to watch. This will add the event to your calendar and remind you to attend! If you want to be on air, please let us know in advance by commenting here.
Let’s discuss ways you can attend:
You do NOT need to join the hangout. Just stay on the Google+ Event or the hangout link and you’ll see the video on YouTube. (Don’t worry, it will be there and start playing as soon as the broadcast begins - if not, click play)
Talk and Be Seen:
If you decide you want to talk, not just watch, click to join the hangout when we post the link here or when you see the notification. (We will only invite a few people for this event, so let us know why you would like to attend.) Do NOT click the link to join the hangout if you are just here to watch.
You can watch here and/or follow the conversation on Twitter using #WorkHackers
Any questions? Just let us know in advance. Please don’t wait until 2pm EST to ask questions.
If you join us on the hangout, a wired internet connection is preferred and if you have a headset with mic or earbuds, that works best for the audio. You will also need a working webcam.
