one of my favorite Italian restaurants! very reasonable and huge family style portions. no place has better chicken parm or penne alla vodka

Good place for groups. Their family-style Italian food isn't amazing, but it's tasty and I always enjoy it. Their drinks are also quite good. The restaurant is quite noisy, so it's best for bigger groups or more casual/loud type evenings. My favorites are the calamari and the chicken parmesan.

Less packed than the Time Square one. Large portions of Italian food that is for sharing. Good for a big crowd -- be sure to make reservations in advance.

The food is a la carte but it is worth it! We had the stuffed mushrooms to start.. sooo yummy!! I had the chicken picatta and my boyfriend had the veal francese and mine was AMAZING!! I did not try his as I do not like veal but he raved about it. Food great, service great. Only thing is was a room with a lot of people and loud. It was hard to hold a conversation at times. My only con.

I agree with whoever pointed out that a party of two does not get the same quality food. But for events the food is Nonna's (provided Nonna came from Southern Italy).Fine service and cheerful environment.

love family style when eating Italian - Tony's is great - have been there with 6 people and 18 and the food is always consistently great and always have more than enough to eat and leave with leftovers they do veal and chicken like that aunt who spent days prepping for christmas dinner - and have all the tasty veggie dishes if you can't eat meat - lord know why one trip and this place will have you as a regular

Great food, family style is a bit small compared to Carmine's but I think the food taste better here.

My friend and I were pleasantly surprised to find such a good, reasonably priced restaurant in this upscale neighborhood. The atmosphere was typical Italian - homey, casual and comfortable. The food was delicious and although we ordered half-portions rather than family style, we certainly didn't leave hungry. I recommend it!
