Is there a module that has an airship? I got too excited and gave my Tuesday group an airship. If there aren’t any modules, ideas/advice would be appreciated.

I've lost one of my d6 from the 4th printing Kickstarter. Any ideas on where I could find a replacement or does anyone have some they'd be willing to part with?

Wednesday Group: This group of students just started playing this year. They are mostly 4th graders with a couple of middle schoolers. Anyway after running them through Nebin Pendlebrook’s Perilous Pantry by Purple Sorcerer Games ( +Jon Marr , +Daniel Bishop ) I decided to send them on The Frost Fang Expedition also by Purple Sorcerer Games. It’s taken two after school sessions just to get them to the fork in the road.

So after the pantry was sorted out they got to the village and realized after dealing with that rock behemoth, meeting a frog headed priest of Bobugbubilz and having to fight an undead Nebin they wanted more adventure and heard that there was something going on up north with a dead wizard and some sweet loot. When they first get there they really flounder around not sure what to do. I nudged in the direction of The Frosty Tankard but they were like no we don’t want to go to the bar. “They sell alcohol there that stuff is bad for you.” (All of my students are Muslims and so the idea of going to find the cleric there confused them.) Eventually they get there and they either tried starting bar fights with everyone or threatened Levi Fangred the cleric leading the expedition. I introduced a small elven girl, Ellie, playing at the end of the bar just outside the kitchen. She is sassy and mischievous and seemed to be the only person they really wanted to talk to in a half civilized manner. Until the Dwarf got aggressive and Ellie’s Dad had to come out of the kitchen,he’s the cook, and fix that situation. The dwarf gets kicked out and the party’s elf attempted to talk to the girl again and was able to get all of the schuttlebutt and rumors from her. As that was happening everyone else was getting equipment for the trek up the mountain. They met back up outside the tavern and went to their rooms for the night. The next morning they hike until they got to the Ardokk Mines where Gruin Ardokk convinced the party that going through the mines would be easier and less time than following the trail. That’s where we ended. Next Wednesday I’m hoping to get through the Moodusa. I guess we’ll see!

Session Report Tuesday Group:
For those of you that don't know I run the afterschool gaming club at my school and currently have three different groups running weekly. The Tuesday group is currently in the middle of the Encounter: "Water's Garden Shop" by Jean Rabe from How to Write Adventure Modules That Don't Suck.

The setup was that after they saved Princess Kaeko from the Halloween Module Shadow Under Devil's Reef, they were to be her personal honor guard until she gets married to the Royal Prince who remained nameless. Over the time that they worked for the Princess they were occasionally sent to Crazy Carl's Critter Castle to get food for her Psi-Spider. One day Crazy Carl leaves a request that they watch the store for him. I played this guy like if Steve Erwin were a car salesman. His excitement for the store and what he has is only matched by his excitement to show his customers around. The premise of the encounter that there is a timeline of events that will happen. They will, of course, be changed when the PCs get involved. Originally the Cleric SK21 and Dwarf Axl watched the store while Halfling BTS BTS!!! went back to the castle to get the rest of the party. When BTS arrived and explained what was going on the Princess insisted she was safe and that they should help Carl since he had been so nice to her and her spider. At the 30 minute mark one of the fish dies and they determine it's because of ich a common fungal problem in aquariums. Since they didn't have any healing potions to pour into the tank I let the Cleric Pray to his god, The Hidden Lord, to give a vial of Holy Water a cure that will only last 24 hours. I'm going to use that to my advantage and throw something fun at them later. After that, a young half-elf came by to purchase a famous familiar, Buddy the Frog. The PCs were very scared of what Crazy Carl would do if they sold his prized frog and desperately wanted to talk to him so, I had them find a can with a string attached that goes into the back wall, imagine the old toy from your childhood, they got in touch and had a very circular conversation and Carl proceeded to evade decision making by being very busy. The PCs were especially frustrated and I was thoroughly entertained. they ended for the Play session with the half-elf showing up with more money to buy the frog.

Overall, I'm really loving this encounter. It has a lot of moving parts that are keeping the PCs busy. At the end of the encounter I think I'm going to offer the shop to the PCs as suggested by Jean. They have earned a home base and plus there are many mysteries within the shop that could use some investigation.

I just watched Bright on Netflix and was wondering if that is what Shadowrun is like?

The last session I wrote up the PC's were trying to finish up +Jon Hook's Shadow Under Devil's Reef. My students were in the control room of the Elder Things. They had just freed the Princess with her friends from the tank when four of the Elder Things, they had accidentally released from their pods, walked in the door. Thankfully they had brought the Psi-Spider with them. It brought the princess back to her right mind just in time to help the PC's barely beat the Elder Things. After that, they had to get out of the caves. Since my Players are all young and not sure how to role play The princess took control of the situation and with some help from a thief they were able to get out. On the trip back to Black Sand Port the Princess asked the party to be her personal honor guard for the next two weeks. She also allowed them to keep her dowery as payment for saving her. I'm not sure where to go from here. They had a lot of fun and they lost a few along the way. If anyone has any ideas about a good segway into another level one adventure let me know.

I'm looking for the Mushroom Crawl Classics hack that was posted a while back. Anyone know where that can be found? I have a group of younger students I'd like to start DCC rules with but with a more age-appropriate setting. Thanks!

Session write up. So first of all it’s been a while since I wrote about my school campaign floundering through +Jon Hook’s “Shadow Under Devil’s Reef”. It has been real crazy. They cleared the beach and got into the ship. A really clumsy halfling almost died falling off the ship. Thankfully for her the cleric is stout and strong, snatching her from falling off the foredeck. After awakening the avatar of Farrin Sharon on the foredeck the cleric was also able to get all of the scimitars out of her hands to share with the party. After that some of the less clumsy party members ventured across and eventually explored the rest of the ship fighting off some zombied Fu-Lamian sailors. The cleric came through again and saved the Psi-Spider. While half the party was exploring the ship the other half was trying to figure out the onyx door. They eventually got it figured out with some really high rolling. One of the dwarves just jumps on the slide and relays everything as best as possible before going out of ear shot. The rest of the party decides to send a couple people back to the ship to get rope. Sadly there weren’t that many missed fort saves so by the time they all go down the hole. Only a couple of them have bulging eyes. They didn’t get quite enough rope to make it all the way down something they will eventually have to figure out. Once they are all together they find the small group of survivors and a very rash thief scares the group into fighting. They kill all but one who runs into the shoggoths area where it comes out rips him to pieces and proceeds to nearly kill the entire party. Luckily the cleric had some hot dice. They all make it to the hallway with the open Elder Thing pods where three of the party members get caught in a pod as it fills with water. They survive with some seriously lucky checks. At this point the party is divided on which door to enter. The cleric goes it alone at door one the north door. The rest of the party goes through door two the south door. They open both doors almost simultaneously. The lone cleric barges in and while the Elder Things are temporarily distracted the rest of the party came in and the wizard casts color spray spell burns a lot and knocks them out. Then they chop them to pieces. No contest. Which was disappointing. I had the Psi-Spider crawl onto the door where the princess was and tap on the glass. Then telling his companion she was in there. They made some rolls on the control panel table and opened 4 of the other Elder thing pods, transported both dwarves and a thief to the onyx monolith, and opened the door to let the princess out. The timing was perfect because shortly after they opened that door the Elder Things came into the room. Will they survive? Will the three up top make it to their friends in time? Hopefully it stays just as crazy!!!!

I NEED HELP!!!

I scheduled a Dungeon Crawl Classics RPG game at my local FLGS this Saturday and have a family thing I can't get out of. Is anyone out there available to run it for me?
