Visiting Baltimore from DC, we stumbled across this place online and in a guide book, so we decided to go for lunch because of the raving reviews it had. Since they don't take reservations, we arrived at noon and were told the wait for 2 would be 25-30 minutes. We thought that wasn't too long of a wait and decided to stick it out. We were told to wait outside with a buzzer. We returned inside after 45 minutes to inquire about our table. We had seen people come and go during our wait time plus there was a mob of people around us who had also been waiting a long time. The host was incredibly curt when we asked, but we were told we would be seated next. We thought we would wait inside since we would be next, but we were practically shoved outside to wait by the head waitress-despite us standing quietly in a corner out of the way of employees and customers. We waited in the cold for another 20 minutes then we were ushered to our table. Absolutely no one apologized for our wait time of over an hour or thanked us for our patience. Our table was mere inches from other diners and made for an extremely uncomfortable set up. We finally were greeted by our waitress, Lauren, who was very nice and chipper but also didn't acknowledge how long we waited. We ordered (chicken & waffles and the breakfast sliders). We had put up with everything until this point assuming the food would live up to the hype. It arrived very promptly, about 15 minutes after we ordered. The prompt service surprised us. Since we waited so long initially we assumed the service would be slow. The chicken was dry and hard to swallow. You had to drink water after every bite. The sliders were luke warm, the hash browns stone cold, and the pulled pork on them was completely dry. For $20 a person, it was overpriced and over hyped. We wouldn't recommend this place to anyone in Baltimore. Living, visiting, or otherwise.

Had a $35 Caesar Salad with an over cooked 5.5 oz steak (well done, who eats a well done steak?), 1 cold prawn and 2 over cooked breaded oysters. For this price one would think it's the best item on the menu, not so. I only blame myself for not asking for the price as it's "market price" is stated on the menu. If you go get the chicken and waffles, $15 bucks and well worth it. As for the $35 salad makes me not want to come back.

On my trip, this was recommended to me by a local and I ended up going every morning for breakfast/brunch. The sweet tea is actually as good as grandma's southern sweet tea. Every person at the table got different things each time we went and no one was disappointed. Seriously, GO HERE!!!

This place never disappoints. The food and the service are amazing. Menu also caters to people with allergies. Vast menu. Would highly recommend it.

Everything good you've ever heard, seen, or read about this place is true. The food is spectacular and the menu is mouth-watering. Oh, were I able to afford the time, money, and calories to eat here every day. Everything everyone in our party of 3 ate was thoroughly enjoyable and perfectly prepared. They also have gluten-free bread which can be used to substitute for other breads on sandwiches. Looking for my next excuse to have a meeting there.

The food was so good. My friends and I were picking off each other's plates. The service was the best I have ever received. Definitely looking forward to going again.

This place is AMAZING! I had some type of cranberry sausage, shrimp and grits, and 2 mini waffles. The shrimp and grits took me by surprise. It was jumbo blackened shrimp on top of some grits on top of a fried green tomato, with some type of sauce that was to die for. I enjoyed the meal here, and the restaurant wasn't busy, and clean! My server was excellent. I had a great experience at this facility. Sad it's not in my city.

Great innovative breakfast items served fast and fresh with great visual appeal and hungry man style portions (big servings) that should not leave you craving more. The variety of omelette toppings seems endless and their grits are delicious, served extremely thick the way I like them. The eggs/omelette was cooked perfectly, light and fluffy. Service was fast, friendly, courteous and professional. Our server new the menu and made some great recommendations. I will definitely be back to enjoy more!
