It is possible to see God's work in all things we do.  (Consider what I say; and the Lord give thee understanding in all things. (2 Timothy 2:7 KJV)

OK, so the concept of running this morning isn't on the agenda.  I can relate to that. But, keep the direction in mind, even if your pace is slower.

When we tell our children "Do as I say, not as I do," what in the world are we thinking? Better yet, what are we saying?

I thought about these two names while I was preparing our Girls Sunday School lesson yesterday.

In case you ever wonder - yes, I do know how off-the-beaten-path my thoughts are as I write the blog. No, I am not concerned how they are received. Yes, sometimes I wonder, too, where that came from!

Do we really have to try everything just to see what it's like? Can we learn from other's experiences - and their consequences? Or must we make our own mistakes - all of them!

I miss letters.  Real letters from the heart. We've become so use to tweets and sound bites that we tend to forget how meaningful words are - especially ones inspired by our Lord.

Solomon told us there's nothing new under the sun - he spent time thinking about that. I don't think we do. We accept "new" things - look forward to the latest "new" gadget. Take time to look at what we've had before us, always.

Today's blog is absolutely an unfinished thought. But, there's just so much to consider!!

While I am very grateful for the freedom offered in my country, there's a greater freedom available.

It's an early morning for us - yet much the same as every day. We check our mirrored image, but often miss the most important reflection.

We bought a Hyundai from James Wood a couple of years ago and now our needs have changed. Curiosity took us to the Hyundai website to look at pricing on a Tucson. The response from James Wood Hyundai was quick, professional without pushing, and we give our thanks to an excellent sales staff. Every question we asked was answered timely and even though what we wanted was not on the lot, it was located and is in the process of being fitted to our needs. We bought and serviced our Accent there and will continue to do so with the new Tucson. They do an excellent job each and every time.

Life savers - my husband experienced three ICU stays in one year, with weekly follow-ups in OPMS in Klabzuba Tower. Care given by staff members is way above good, headed to excellent. Thanks THR Harris!

First Baptist Church of Cottondale is located in Wise County. The Google map has been updated and now shows the correct physical location. Often a GPS will send a driver into the city of Paradise.

A very good convenience store way out in the country. Friendly, helpful staff, too. We appreciate their being in business - oh yes, a good grill, too.

We have used Comet Cleaners in Springtown, Texas for more than ten years and have never had to discuss anything more than the amount of starch in collars. They have cleared stains that I was foolish enough put on my favorite clothes, and just smiled at me when I tried to explain how it got there. This is a place to visit, too, so do not be surprised at the friendliness -- it is as good as their customer service. Hope we run into you there!
