I try to keep my blogs less than 600 words - that's not easy. Often I need to continue a thought process through a day or two. Such is this one.

I was thinking of Ezekiel's watchman description - and the light for our lives.

Strange - when I view this on my phone through G+ I can comment - but not through Chrome in my PC. The important thing is to view it and share the love for LouLou and the others who have brought so much happiness in our lives with their unconditional love. You've lost four during the time we lost three - and their love was worth going through their loss. We'll remember them, always.
A – Z Challenge. L is for Loulou Loulou was our Dalmatian. We lost her on the 18th of January. She was 14 years, 9 months old and it was her time. She was tired and she was done. This is our last photo of her, a week be...

I enjoy knitting, as long as I don't have to change colors in a pattern. I do scarves mostly, preferring crochet for patterns.
A – Z challenge for today is “K” Hmm this has been another hard one for me. I have come up with knitting. My Mum was a very good knitter. A very prolific knitter too. She always had something on the go and knitted all o...

Yes, that's a beautiful dog. With training, an excellent companion. Untrained? A great loss.

There are always negatives in our lives. What we do with them determines their value to us.

A Watchman Shares Light
(I knew I had used the Ezekiel watchman scriptures a few years ago. It was good for me to re-read today. I hope it is for you, too.) In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not....

I am privy to some secrets - most must stay that way, too.

That's what I heard yesterday - the good news proclaimed! And that's what I would like to share with everyone.

Nope - there was not a blog yesterday. At least I can explain a bit about that.

Thanks to all who stopped by and read this even though I didn't get it linked to G+. Yesterday was David's plasmapheresis and for some reason we were both exhausted afterward and accomplished nothing more than getting home and napping - with a few exceptions I'll write about today.

Introduction
... I'm Mom to three, Grammy to seven, Great Grammy to nine -- and called Grammy by many others. When you look at my profile, there are three "Grammy Blick" blogspots. The first one was for sharing personal thoughts while Bible reading, the second was created to share family favorite recipes and the third is for genealogy -- our family history. Feel free to begin a discussion in any one of them! You may write to me at GrammyBlick@gmail.com. I do pray for each of my readers -- that the Lord will open your heart to His word. That His word will bring both comfort and joy, as shared in His word: Therefore we were comforted in your comfort: yea, and exceedingly the more joyed we for the joy of Titus, because his spirit was refreshed by you all. (2 Corinthians 7:13 KJV) [PS: Wondering about the logo? I don't have (take) a good photo. I created one reflecting our need of bread to live, and added the scriptures confirming our need of Christ to live eternally.]

Meet me at First Baptist Church of Cottondale.  The church is just off the corner of Farm Road 2123 and County Road 3355, at Cottondale, in Wise county, Texas, and we'd love to have you come join us in fellowship.

We bought a Hyundai from James Wood a couple of years ago and now our needs have changed. Curiosity took us to the Hyundai website to look at pricing on a Tucson. The response from James Wood Hyundai was quick, professional without pushing, and we give our thanks to an excellent sales staff. Every question we asked was answered timely and even though what we wanted was not on the lot, it was located and is in the process of being fitted to our needs. We bought and serviced our Accent there and will continue to do so with the new Tucson. They do an excellent job each and every time.

Life savers - my husband experienced three ICU stays in one year, with weekly follow-ups in OPMS in Klabzuba Tower. Care given by staff members is way above good, headed to excellent. Thanks THR Harris!

First Baptist Church of Cottondale is located in Wise County. The Google map has been updated and now shows the correct physical location. Often a GPS will send a driver into the city of Paradise.

A very good convenience store way out in the country. Friendly, helpful staff, too. We appreciate their being in business - oh yes, a good grill, too.

We have used Comet Cleaners in Springtown, Texas for more than ten years and have never had to discuss anything more than the amount of starch in collars. They have cleared stains that I was foolish enough put on my favorite clothes, and just smiled at me when I tried to explain how it got there. This is a place to visit, too, so do not be surprised at the friendliness -- it is as good as their customer service. Hope we run into you there!
