My experiences with Bahia have always been very positive, and I have been going since before they moved from their Broadway location. As a vegetarian, I first was under the assumption that the Chiles Rellenos was the only meat free option, however, they are very accommodating and have adjusted some other meals on the menu to be meatless. The staff are always very welcoming and the owners are very nice. Make sure to have their margaritas, and support local restaurants.

Wonderful server - not so wonderful food. Salsas tasted like a fish peed in them - horrible flavors. There should not be cheese in guacamole - there should, however, be lime and salt which this had neither. Tacos de Alambrada should have bacon - these had none. And a mexican restaurant running out of shredded beef early on a Friday night? blargh. Beans were not fresh cooked, they were obviously canned and not even doctored up a bit or refried - just straight from the can (a cheap can). The chips were fresh and tasty. I really don't like hating on restaurants, but this was sad as we were really looking forward to good *authentic* tasting mexican food. There are several others in town that hit closer to that mark than Bahia. Sorry.
