Interesting what he does with the vocal here, again he's using a capo though, all crowded house songs do, it makes it higher to match his voice.

Like this one too, awkward bastards using a capo though.

Found the chords me and Mary are working this out for an acoustic version, seen Jamo too, he wants to do the rap, it will be amazing

Going off on a different tangent now, but since a lot of the songs we are doing are a bit heavy and depressing now, would anyone be interested in doing an acoustic cover of a glam rock song. The chords to this aren't that hard. :) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VP2umy6TdEU

Also a brilliant one by Neil Young, my dad has the chords, bit advanced for me to play at the moment, but again, can sing it.

The song me and Mary were jamming the other day, hopefully going to go round hers for a practice one night this week and she'll start to teach me to play it too, can sing it already.

The Blondie version of "Dreaming", the second verse actually does end on "Just to have some dreaming..." and go straight to the "Beat Feet..." break down bit (also known as a CODA). And there is a short "woo" during the chorus after that bit. For our acoustic version I still think it sounds better the way we do it though, and it makes our own, rather than a strict cover of the original.
Still an awesome version though and worth another listen if you haven't heard it for a while. :)

Here's the slightly slower more shouty live version he does with "The Band", listen to the audience call him Judas at the beginning! That was because traditional acoustic folk fans didn't like it when he first toured with an electric band.

The original album version of like a rolling stone, there are versions where he sings it slower to I'm sure with a bigger band, I'll try and find that too so you all know what I'm on about lol.
