Interesting lunchtime read on promo codes at checkout #ecommerce
Kill the promo code box. Imagine you're out shopping and you pick up something you want to buy. You take it to the till and just before you hand over your credit card, the shop assistant says "this is cheaper if you know the secret password". But you don't know the secret password.

Should #SEO's use the link disavow tool without having a manual penalty? Matt Cutts says yes, and so do I!

Nexus 5 General  -

I recently took my Nexus 5 to Germany on a weekend trip (I’m from UK) and could not at all connect to a network, or internet access. So I couldn't make any phone calls or SMS through hangouts. Am I missing a setting or something? Advice appreciated!

you should also let your carrier know that you are traveling, so they can set you up accordingly.

For those that are wondering why I'm always droning on about bricks and dust, this is the state of my kitchen right now > #homeimprovement
This weekend, the extension was officially declared as sealed, confirmed by the fact that the kitchen wall came down once and for all! It had been partly demolished as the roof beams went in earlie...

Lovely gem in Penrith. We always visit on our way home from Center Parcs. Great place to stop for a quick bite to eat, and you can look at the animals for no charge making it a great place to stop with kids.

Went recently for a wedding and enjoyed the venue, particularly with the balcony access to remain cool! However, staying as a guest was disappointing. Our room entry was almost 2 hours late, and I had to wait for a cooked breakfast from the buffet. Staff blamed the wedding for these delays but as a venue which regularly caters for wedding parties, this shouldn't have affected these parts of our stay.

Brilliant facilities with a warm pool and purpose-built changing areas. Good spectator viewing too, perfect for the grandparents to watch. The lessons have made me more confident in the water with my baby. Mark at the Timperley location is wonderful with the babies. Would highly recommend and I hope to continue even after maternity leave is over.

Mixed opinions here after staying with our baby. The hotel was lovely with a great location, and we enjoyed the pool. As for our room, the staff happily provided a cot for us which was great, but we our room was upstairs with no lift access making it incredibly difficult to manoevre around with a pram - disappointing.

Such a great little cafe! So child-friendly so you can have a coffee while the kids play. The children's area is probably most suitable for toddlers and up, but we took our baby girl as well and she loved all the colours and the bookshelf. We'll be back.

Certainly not the biggest soft play area I've been to and there wasn't a great deal for my 5 month old to do. Saying that, entry was free for her age so it was a nice local child-friendly place to meet up with other mums and grab a bite to eat, whilst introducing her to soft play areas and practice sitting up & crawling.

Fantastic food and truly helpful staff. It's also surprisingly child-friendly whilst remaining a really upmarket place.
