My fiance and I stayed here while in town for a wedding. We wanted to be close to the airport because we had an early flight out the next morning. From the moment we checked in, the staff was exceedingly friendly and helpful. The room was nice and clean and had comfortable pillows - something I'm particular about. I slept like a baby. It's very conveniently located close to the airport, but not so close you hear flights landing.

The Holiday Inn Portland Portland is a modern, spacious, and well maintained property. The management and staff were very helpful. The brand has really come along way in recent years. One of the best features of this hotel is it's location near the airport. The stay here was quite memorable. Thanks again guys!

Reported MOLD on ice machines twice over four days and it was still dirty when I left. Disgusting! Going to report this to the state. Highly recommend you get ice from the kitchen (which is hopefully mold-free)!

Stayed here for one night and had a fabolous stay. Even that I had some trouble with my first room but that was resolved quickly. Even was able to get an upgrade when I checked in. Room was awesome: clean and big. If you can try to get a room with an even number, that faces away from the railroad tracks. But the trains are not honking as much as I used to from other places. So it was not a problem at all for me during the night. Breakfast menu is good but the buffet is a bit on the cheap side for this hotel. No cereals or cream cheese for the toast. But other than that, good buffet. They even have a Club Room on the 8th floor, where you get access if you are a special member. They have all kind of beverages there and some small snacks. Awesome. On sunday there was a collectors market in the big ball room next to the breakfast area. It was fun browsing through it... I will definetly stay here again, if I am in the area.

The staff was very energetic and helpful. The beds were comfortable and pillows were nice. The room was very clean and there wasnt too much traffic around the hotel so it was very quiet. My only issue was that there was not a mini fridge in my room to keep my beverages cold.

You pay for what you get. My room smelled like smoke and did not appear clean what so ever. I also had a room directly next to an intersection and active train tracks. They allowed me to leave 5 minutes after i checked in which was nice, however I would never want to sleep there. Visited spring of 2014.
