Are you pot bound? What's the impact on your #potential?

I wonder how many of us allow ourselves to stay pot bound? In an organisational context, are we in jobs that we’re good at, but that no longer stretch us? Are we allowed to spread both our roots and our branches?

If you or anyone you know is looking for a green Mazda 2, check out the ad. I bought this car new and have done very low kms. It's a really fantastic car that I'm sad to sell.

‘Just because you can, doesn’t mean you should.” This can apply at work, in making career decisions and in your personal life. The nett result of ignoring ‘just because you can, doesn’t mean you should’ is that you often feel frustrated, dissatisfied or even bored. Click the link to read the full blog.

Dealing with ambiguity is a competency that often comes up in the workplace and is something my clients often talk to me about, both in a personal and professional context. While some of us are better at ambiguity than others, the good news is that dealing with ambiguity is something we can develop. How do you manage ambiguity?

Warmest wishes,

This is a really interesting and inspiring episode of Catalyst exploring the impact of music on the brain.

The episode looks at the positive impact of music on those with dementia in connecting them with their memories, it explains how music connects us with emotion, as well as the impact of music in enhancing social connection through increasing our levels of oxytocin. It highlights some incredible results in working with those suffering from Parkinsons and talks about the link between music and movement in general. Fascinating!
