This is one of the best Thai places near downtown, on the east side of the river. They are literally in a trailer, and contrary to many restaurants in the area, always have parking spots. I had the tom kha soup and green curry at my last visit and they were both exceptional. I was dining with a friend who has a pretty severe gluten intolerance. The staff was so well versed in it; they warned her away from a dish that had soy sauce in it and recommended the gluten free noodles (they have gluten free noodles...) for her Pad Thai.

Here's to all you bad reviewers ! If you don't like this place, then bring your own lunch to work. Or go eat your typical fat'ning BBQ and burgers. This food is great! Sorry they possibly could not accommodate your request for 9 people, One look at the size of the place should tell you that's a possible issue. They do an excellent business here for the size of the place and crew. If you doubt that take a look at their full parking lot at about 12:30 pm everyday. If you didn't like eating here then you are probably too hard to please anyway. The cooks know what they are doing for your optimum health benefit, so quit complaining and just finish your plate!

I traveled quite much in the US and this is one of the best thai restaurants in the country. Great quality, large amounts, cheap, friendly staff. Perfect.

Thai food from a remodeled trailer might not sound appetizing, but it is! I prefer Thai Phooket to other popular Thai places (The Smiling Elephant, Golden Thai, etc.) Great appetizers, soups, and noodle dishes. I also really enjoy the green curry (well all the curry options), peanut sauce with cabbage, and drunken noodles. Great duck too! I'm not sure why other reviewers complain about service...been there at least a dozen times (with parties of all sizes) and never had an issue.

Had the Green and Red Curry (Lunch Special). Very flavorful, and the price was surprisingly low. I think some people get caught up on the (initially) sketchy decor. Best Thai I've had in Nashville!
