Well now I need an android wear device...

Ingress on Android Wear puts hacking Portals at your fingertips while your phone stays in your pocket. The next phase in augmented reality is here. Heads up, Agents. It’s time to move.

Just curious how the crash problems on 2.3 are progressing.  Ive been running 2.1 on my pebble, and would love to get back to 2.3 to get the sleep sync back.  Thanks!

Troubleshooting  -

I updated my Fedora 21 to 22 last week.  So far things are OK, except for two issues.  1. my logitech wireless headset somehow causes gnome on X to somehow not load.  When it's connected i get one of those useless Oh No errors.  Disconnect it and all is well.   2. I use need spice-xpi to work, i'm a sysadmin, and i administer VM's on RHEV, which uses spice for consoles.  The spice plugin crashes ever since my F22 upgrade.  I have no idea how to troubleshoot it, it seems to keep no useful logs at all.

First, sorry if this is the wrong place to post, this isnt explicitly a beta issue.  I couldnt find a non beta group to ask though.  Anyway.  Im trying out plexfit on a first gen pebble.  Im loving it so far.  Syncing to google fit was the attraction and thats working great.

The problem is, sleep tracking.  That's part of my goal, automatic sleep tracking.  Which plexfit appears to do.  The problem is, it doesnt seem to sync to my app.  My plexfit app on the pebble says it has sleep data,  and ive read that plexfit intentionally doesn't sync while in sleep mode, however, it doesnt seem to have sync'd at all.  The app on my phone doesnt report any sleep data.  I even enabled the "Display sleep card even if there's no sleep data" and the card shows, but there's no data.

Im on watch app 2.1, and android app 2.1.2.

Thanks!

Yea, the crash is probably a bigger fish than the sleep tracker.  It may be that the sleep tracker is just a symptom of the crash as you say.  which pebble are you on?  Maybe platform has something to do with it?

Does anyone else have problems getting the chat in ingress on android to keep the keyboard visible long enough to actually type something? It does this to me on both of my devices.

I don't do missions and this happens all the time. COMM sucks. Don't worry about it.

My build environment isn't done yet. Close though. Want some good docs? Hell, you can probably just call the developers. :P

+Haeley Merrill-Schroeppel the problem there is that you can get around the speed bubble by turning it off, or resetting.

Hey fellow #ingress fans.  I wanted to try to wrap my head around some weirdness I see in the ingress client on both android and iPhone, and see if its somehow intentional, or a bug?  I commute 80 miles a day.  I carpool with another ingress player.  Which ever of us is not driving, is in the passenger seat, ingressing as we commute.  We've found several features of the game that seem broken when moving at vehicle speeds. For instance, hacking a portal as we pass it seems to grant to items, where if we stand next to the portal and hack, it works just fine.  Recharging portals on the go is also broken.  If you open up a portal using your portal key in your inventory, recharging it simply has no effect.  This all makes the one hour each way that we spend in the vehicle with not much else to do, which might be prime ingress time, both useless and sometimes quite frustrating.

Are these limitations intentional?  Perhaps to deter people from ingressing while driving?  This seems possible, and in fact responsible, but I think it could be better implemented if that is indeed the case.  Maybe simply lock-out those features at times that the client feels you shouldn't be doing them.  Or find some way to verify that you are indeed not driving before preventing you from doing these things?

Thanks!

+Caio Dias I really wish people wouldn't keep peddling that "it's a walking game" crap like it's gospel. I've lost 20kg and walked 200km since I started playing again, but I've also driven 1500km. Walking is encouraged as a healthy side effect of playing but it's entirely up to the individual how they play. Thank God this speed limit nonsense doesn't seem to be implemented in the UK (where the speed limit between most of the major cities is 112kph)... Not that I've ever tried drive-by at that speed but if I drove from here to the next city @112kph and then had to wait an hour or more for the sandbox to catch up with me before I could get started, I'd probably just stop playing again.
