Exodus 31:1-11.

1. God gave you your gift. Whether it is used in Church or not, God gave it to you.

 2. The gift is for the building of the Kingdom. Kingdom doesn't mean you use your gift in Church only.

The Kingdom means a) you do it as unto The Lord, building people up; b) your motivation changes, no longer money and fame.

3. Everything you do should reflect God's values. #IYCConference

1. Value systems. This is your base, where you go to get direction, a reference point.

Values include professionalism, hard work, consistencu, persistence, humility, integrity etc.

2. Research. Spend time researching. Make Youtube and Google your friends. Information is power.

3. Collaborations. Work with people. Build a professional team around you. You share the cake, you get a bigger cake.

4. Monetize your talent. Diversify income centres. Take time with your business model, live performances, synchronization etc.

5. Responsibility. You have to leave a good legacy. Help someone else come up whenever you have an opportunity.

6. Experiences. The only bad experience is an experience you learn nothing from.

25 years is a long time to do anything.

Join us later today for Rev. Dr. Pete Odera's Silver Jubilee Gala Dinner and Concert for KES 2,500 only. Limited spaces available.

Come and get to hear about the process, how the journey was. He shall be featuring Hart and 5-Alive. This is what they had in mind when they coined that term 'throwback'. Bring a friend!

Raising a New Generation of Kingdom Minded Believers taking Transformation to the Nations.
Introduction
The Waterbrook is a pioneer Christian movement dedicated to raising a new generation of Kingdom-minded believers to take transformation to the Nations.
The waterbrook was birthed out of the itinerant ministry of the Rev. Pete Odera, an accomplished and well-respected music minister. Pete Odera is a household name in his native Kenya and is was the foundation stone God laid for contemporary Gospel Music in that region.

God began to refresh the vision for a church given to Rev.Pete Odera during a time when he was serving at International Bible Society (IBS). This was between 2002 and 2003. Leaving IBS Rev Odera launched out in response to the divine calling.

The Waterbrook was founded in 2004.

Today The Waterbrook has a dynamic ministry including 2 weekly services and maskanis (house churches) that meet all over the city of Nairobi.
