Lake Lovatnet, Stryn, Norway

Lovatnet is a lake in the municipality of Stryn in Sogn og Fjordane county, Norway. It is located about 2 kilometres (1.2 mi) southeast of the village of Loen and about 6 kilometres (3.7 mi) east of the village of Olden. The lake lies just 2 kilometres (1.2 mi) southwest of the mountain Skåla. The water from the lake flows down from the mountains; especially from the Jostedalsbreen and Tindefjellbreen glaciers. It then flows out through the Loelva river into the Nordfjord.

The Baatara gorge sinkhole   #baatara   #nature    #waterfall

The Baatara gorge sinkhole (Balaa gorge waterfall) is a waterfall in the Tannourine, Lebanon.

The waterfall drops 255 metres (837 ft) into the Baatara Pothole, a cave of Jurassic limestone located on the Lebanon Mountain Trail.

Discovered in 1952 by French bio-speleologist Henri Coiffait, the waterfall and accompanying sinkhole were fully mapped in the 1980s by the Spéléo club du Liban. The cave is also known as the "Cave of the Three Bridges."[6] Traveling from Laklouk to Tannourine one passes the village of Balaa, and the "Three Bridges Chasm" (in French "Gouffre des Trois Ponts") is a five-minute journey into the valley below where one sees three natural bridges, rising one above the other and overhanging a chasm descending into Mount Lebanon. During the spring melt, a 90–100-metre (300–330 ft) cascade falls behind the three bridges and then down into the 250-metre (820 ft) chasm. A 1988 fluorescent dye test demonstrated that the water emerged at the spring of Dalleh in Mgharet al-Ghaouaghir.

Introduction
I work on stuff that help save lives.

My posts are mostly for fun, not really getting into work related stuff, thinking... why do I have to do that after a long day at work dealing with nothing but...work?

Most of my posts gearing towards positive stuff, beautiful scenery, exotic, strange but good food around the world, new and cutting edge technology, some health tech, sciences, the net, some business and economics, including some topics on the stock market, some music, mostly classic rock, but it can be different genres, including international music, French , classical, no hip hop, no Bieber or the likes, but can be some new stuff, metal, pop, jazz, romantic tunes...

I am into interesting, positive thinking, aspects and angles of life, what makes life better and enjoyable...Looking into (+)'s, not (-)'s. And absolutely I'm not into politics, just because it wastes time going nowhere arguing with a lot of shortsighted fanatics, but I do vote and I do vet the candidates out before I vote.

I'm here for fun, not for self promotion. I don't have an agenda on Google+.  I've met a lot of nice, funny, professional and intelligent people here in the states and around the world. Believe me, I'm not here trying to get one million "followers" or "friends". I prefer not using the word "followers" I prefer the word "engagers", because it's nice and productive to engage in topics we are interested in. I like to keep my circles small enough so we can interact in a nice, friendly way with quality conversations. I don't prefer to use the word "friends" too often here. To me my friends are the ones I know a lot about and mostly meet face to face frequently. If I know you on this network long enough and have had lot of conversation, I would use that term here.

I don't handle well people who visit my page who are annoying, arrogant, knuckleheaded, or people who swear or use profanity. If you are in that category perhaps I would suggest to you that there are thousand of other pages that cater to your favorite language that you can go to have fun with. I found the Google+ block, mute and report buttons very handy and I would like to experiment with them from time to time as needed.

One of the best Chinese restaurants in the city. The dim sum is great and the price is reasonable. I really like their shrimp won ton soup, for $6, can't beat that price for a wonderful bowl of won ton soup. The dinner menu is great. Try their Peking duck, it's the best in the city.
