Hi Guys,

here is a new post from the publication I edit. Dario Fo was a member of the communist party; he and his wife, Franca Rame, were also not permitted to enter the United States in the 1980s. He died on the 13th of October aged 90. If any body would like to read about our generous obituary of him, including analysis on his great play, The Accidental Death of an Anarchist, here is the link:http://theilr.weebly.com/against-jesters-who-defame-and-insult.html

The weekend is here! How marvellous!

We have a new posting. Dario Fo, certainly was subject to censorship and hardship. Banning things is a little more unusual today. Anyway, to celebrate his life following his death on October 13th, we have written a piece on him commemorating him and some of his work, looking at his Nobel Prize speech and his most important play, the Accidental Death of an Anarchist. If you would like to read it, here is the link: http://theilr.weebly.com/against-jesters-who-defame-and-insult.html

Dario FO, the Italian playwright, dissident and Nobel-Prize winning author died last month, sadly, aged 90. To celebrate his life and his works - the Accidental Death of an Anarchist especially - we decided to write an obituary of him celebrating the man, his work and much more.
