Friendly's is a divey locals sports bar great for watching Blues and Cardinals games with cheap food and pitchers, real people and skeeball! Who doesn't love skeeball? Don't bring your kids. Unless they're cool kids.

DO NOT GO THERE. Some guy named Joseph Gibson was in there with his son on June 16 and the waitress wrote a profanity insulting the kid on the receipt. This is poor judgement and if I had come into that joint with my niece, I would know to expect better from the waitresses. So if you absolutely must go to a restaurant that doesn't live up to its name, then DO NOT PAY THE BILL.

The community and people are great. The service isn't bad and friendly. What is really wrong about this place is the pricing. The fact that we were in the other night and on their menu it only shows 5/6 beers as craft. Then they have plenty of mass produced beers on draft. For example, one person in our party ordered three Stella Artois and when the bill came we were charged $6 per beer. That is a joke. I grew up in St. Louis and am visiting from Colorado. Decent micro-brew craft beer averages $5/pint on any given night including weekends. This place can suck it. When I confronted the bartender about the menu being misleading; she continues to tell me that everything on draft up at the bar is craft beer; I find this nauseating. Sorry but Stella Artois is a mass produced junk beer. Try again. So, if you are looking for a place to knock back bud light or coors then it's a great little bar. If you want to get bent over drinking anything else by abusing pricing and a misleading menu -- go to Friendly's...

Treating your recent newsworthy issue as "not a big deal", is one of the dumbest things I have ever seen an owner of an establishment do. It is not okay to say horrible things about your customers, whether they are children or grown adults who can defend themselves. I would like to see the owner's reaction if his own children were referred to with a profanity laced tirade. That waitress should be fired and should not get another serving job, because apparently a few kids is enough to ruin her day. This restaurant is nowhere near a high enough level of quality to keep it out of trouble in this situation. To the owner: You f'd up.
