Mike Agostini (Lead Guitar, Background Vocals) First band in high school, called Existence.
Then met up with Anthony, formed Motion Matter Energy – three piece band. Then to Steel River, 5 piece band, 92-94. 94-2004, Expresso Five, Italian band. Traveled, played Ohio to AZ, Seattle down to San Diego. Moved up to OR, Anthony came back up and formed Pause 456 a few years ago. Been playing guitar since 1980. Self-taught. Opened for Night Ranger, Pat Travers, Dixie Chicks, Starship, played with Paul Jones (base player for Whitney Houston’s bodyguard). Opened for YNT, The Outlaws, Lynch Mob, April Wine, Rick Deringer. Been playing on and off with Anthony for 25 years.
Anthony Broderick (Vocals, Bass) Anthony grew up on the East Coast... At age 10 he got his first bass guitar and hasn't put it down since. He came out to California, to explore the music scene in San Francisco . He then met Michael Agostini through mutual friends. The two developed a love of music that led to their own original music as well as interesting takes on cover songs. Their influence of various musical talents has grown over the years. Finding not enough varitey, Anthony and his family moved to Portland to find the music scene in the Rose City. Michael, having already established himself in Portland, found the only bass player that could make the grade was Anthony. So here it is ......
25 years later, and loving it still.
Rhonda Rutledge (Drums, Background Vocals) Rhonda grew up in Forest Grove, Or. She started playing drums at the age of 13. She has played in several local bands since the 80's. Influences- 70's Rock, Tom Petty, Eagles, Fleetwood Mac, The Beatles, and Sheryl Crow. Rhonda joined Pause 456 in March of 2010.
Chad Nodine (Vocals, Guitar) Chad was born in South Carolina. He moved to Chicago during the late 80's. After a good friend showed him a few chords, his love for the guitar grew and grew. After a brief stint in a Chicago band called Northbound Train, Chad gravitated out of the music scene. After meeting Mike, he was quickly pulled back in by the delicious melodies. Chad joined Pause 456 in January of 2012.
