Works at Speaker, Author, Consultant, Digital Photographer, Radio Amateur (WB5EIN). Founder/CEO, National Center for Technology Planning. My most recent eBook, "Leading Your Own Photo Safari," published in July 2011, is a free download from http://www.nctp.com/photosafari -- and it works great in the iBooks app on your iPad or other iOS device. I am working on my 5th book now, "The Power of the Seed" -- it is about the influence we have upon each other...the seeds we plant in others' lives, as well as the powerful seeds other people have planted in ours. Watch for it. I also love woodworking, ham radio, and Harley motorcycles (actually, any brand of motorcycle that's not a crotch rocket...and I don't do the offroad stuff.) I hope you enjoy using Google + with me.

Outstanding!  Purely outstanding!  Tom Taormina is that kind of person with whom I would love to spend several hours contemplating and discussing paramount elements of a solid life based upon integrity.

My grandson started back to kindergarten today after the long Christmas/New Years break….and, here on the first day back, his school is having a TESTING day!  I asked which test and was told "Decibel."

I've looked via Google searches and can't find any info on that test.

Do any of you know what this is?  Can you provide me some helpful info so I can go learn more about this test he's taking?  Feel free to email me directly -- adelarry (at) me.com -- or post here.

Why, why, why would a school test on the first day back from a vacation?  Haven't they read the innumerable research findings on this?

Probably DIEBLS...middle of year screening to identify students in need of intervention.  Early intervention is more effective than waiting til 3rd grade.

Amazing!  I was there when this video was captured with the drone…and I still can't believe what took place!  How phenomenal!   And, it's so great to have this drone video, just so we can catch a glimpse of what took place high above ground.  Thanks, Joe Moffatt, AB5OR, for driving the drone….and thanks Chuck Moffatt, N5VGK, for letting your drone be used to record this video of your new tower going up!

Absolutely fabulous photo--with so many captioning possibilities!

If you catch the first light in the morning for more than 30 seconds, you get colors you never expect.

I actually came across a setting similar to that on a walk last week along an old railroad trail.  Unfortunately, it was about two weeks past peak leaf color.  So I have to put it on my calendar for next year.
