It's been a while since I've posted anything on Google. So I've recently been on a Amish kick, promoting for my workshop and enjoying getting out around the area. We've had some really great clouds here lately as well.

Smoky Mountains.

Every year we head down south to visit this beautiful location. I look forward to this trip because it helps me find inspiration and reboot my creativity. Something I lose slowly over the year when workshop season ends. I'm always ready to get back to the grind and start traveling again.

Guess what? it's almost that time of the year again and you could be joining us in these gorgeous locations. Why not, right?

"A person does not grow from the ground like a vine or a tree, one is not part of a plot of land. Mankind has legs so it can wander." I read this quote this morning thinking about something we preach during our workshops. Don't let your tripod grow roots. Meaning don't get stuck in one location. Move around, you never know if the spot you're currently in is the best spot to be. Explore.

Grand Tetons 2017 Photography workshop with Ed Heaton and myself is something to see. Come with us and enjoy the beautiful scenes. I shot this image at Mormon Row last year under the Milky Way. Best night skies I have ever seen. Shot with a Nikon D800. www.edheaton.com
