Launched first New York outpost of renowned Cambridge, Massachusetts specialty food store Formaggio Kitchen, which included sourcing local food products, hiring, and managing a staff of four. Worked with the press (NY Times, Time Out NY, and Boston Globe) to promote the store. Organized and conducted in-store and out-of-store cheese classes to educate customers about products and increase product familiarity. And then, I left to pursue a Ph.D. in French literature. I will always have a special place in my heart for Formaggio!
