KDP Select - I keep hearing about it - must check it out some more
So my KDP Select period ended and I've decided to distribute to iBooks and Nook now. The KDP tools are nice, but I wasn't seeing any KU activity and my sales have kind of flat-lined.

Does anyone know of ways to advertise for iBooks/Nook? The market share is smaller, but then the book pool is smaller----easier to get noticed, maybe.

not yet, but I am working on it... This article will help if you want to explore Pinterest some more...
Has anyone here had success with Pinterest, either to find readers or to build stronger connections with your existing readership? I wonder whether that platform can really be useful to authors or if it's too "visual" and not enough about the writing…

Perhaps subconsciously I think of this post as my to-do list. But, at the very least it helps me organize my thoughts and hopefully spark some ideas for my fellow writers...

Hello, I run a modest feminist blog focused on woman created media, and we are looking for women self-published authors to feature for our book of the month in September, and going forward. I have linked to the page I've set up to explain how it works, but would be happy to answer any questions here too.

Basically, if you're a woman who has self-published a book we are interested in helping you build your audience. :)

yikes
Book covers that look the same (book-alikes) are on the rise, thanks to free templates and poor design. +I_AM Self-Publishing's Leila Dewji advises how to avoid your book from following suit:
