One of my favorite markets, I go there weekly. It's like Whole Foods but less big box. It's a Michigan based store. They get breads and desserts from Zingerman's (famous deli in Ann Arbor) daily. If you haven't had Zingerman's it's amazing. They have a very good rewards program where they send you coupons weekly. Plum Market is as expensive as Whole Foods but not so bad with the coupons. It's a lot more friendly.

Whole Foods alternative. Great salar / hot food bar.

Hey! Welcome to Chicago! The Ann Arbor legend makes it to the big time, and it brought Zingerman's baked goods, a wine bar and a sweet Intelligentsia with it! Not bad! While you would be forgiven for confusing Plum Market with Whole Foods, I'm happy to see Plum Market. Give yourself plenty of time to explore because they're packed with stuff, and if the weather is still nice out take your coffee and salad bar meal outside. You'll see a load of dogs and Old Town characters prance by which is always entertaining.

Very possibly the most upscale grocery I've ever been in, and I am a true foodie. A must to experience if you love exotic grocery stores (:

Pricey but worth it! Best prepared foods! Nicest, most helpful staff and great layout.

Selection is good. Some item prices are exaggerated
