My son asked me, "Why are Gods of Death always Evil?"
Me, "Well... I suppose that Death is a great loss, and people are afraid to die, and loose loved ones. We tend to feel that something is taken from us, unfairly."
Son, "But Death is just the process' of life. If we never died, people would never feel motivated to accomplish goals."
This carried on for some time. Long story short, we worked out the following:

REAPER

Priest of True Neutral God of Death

Starting HP: d8+4
HP per Level/Resting: 1d8
Weapons & Armor: Swords and Scythes. Gambeson and Leather.
Attack Damage: 1d6/1d4

SPECIAL FEATURES

Roll with Advantage when rolling on the OofA Chart.
(those in the Gods service, might be over looked, when there time comes)

Roll with Disadvantage on CHA checks for social interactions. (these priests are NEVER popular)

A Reaper can spend an action to banish or control all NEARBY undead by testing their WIS and adding the creatures HD to the roll.

LEVELING UP
Roll for attribute increase, roll twice for STR or WIS

Divine Spells, as Cleric

New Spell
Level 1, Lay to Rest: Dead, or dying target will resist being raised as undead against their wish's.

id award tokens or coins that the player can collect as they do things during their career. Treat them like Bennies or Fate points, let them use them to affect rolls or outcomes - call them divine intervention or whatever.

Then when they do die you can actually weight them :o

I'm selling a bunch of my 40K models. I have lots of bills, and lots of models. See if you can help out a fellow gamer!

Showing off my LEET skilz! I made this bag 10 years ago, from the cast off strips of plastic waste, generated by the shrink wrap machine I operated at the time. I finished it, in the waiting room, as my late wife gave birth to our daughter. My wife had been trying to interest me in knitting, but being the mule headed nincompoop that I am, I couldn't (or wouldn't) get it. I did, however, find an old book in her collection that instructed crochet. Now THIS I could do! And still do. Albeit, at a very slow rate... Mostly I make hats. Never the same pattern twice. In fact, I don't follow patterns at all. Right now, i'm working on a scraps scarf, made from the bits of left over yarn from other projects. Not pretty, but I got to do SOMETHING with it!

+peacelovr n Thanks! I've always enjoyed making, and fixing things. Good on you for making the effort to learn more, and you should be proud! So many people cripple themselves with wilful ignorance. It boggles the mind!

In my recent game, after character creation, I asked my players, "What is your characters Destiny?" This is ment to be a single simple sentence, to give me a better idea of how to move forward with their stories. After some discussion, I got back,"doesn't have one yet", "Will inherit the Throne", "Will go home", and "Revenge!". What do y'all think of this idea?

Nice. Interesting spin on 13th Age's "One Unique Thing". Think I'll add that to my next game.

"It's kind of like noodling, only instead of sticking your arm down a hole to be bitten by a large fish, you crawl into the hole and fight a huge serpent for your life... so... maybe it's not much like noodling?"

I stumbled on this, just now. Looks interesting.
So, alchemy was a peculiar pursuit wherein the transformation of materials through processes we now think of as chemical reactions were in some way representative of, or a means of inducing, a parallel series of transformatio...

Here's a link to my favourite background generator. It's based on the first edition Central Casting book Heroes of Legend. The 2nd Ed book is a bit better, but the simplicity of this site is unbeatable.

I've also used it to get game plot ideas. Some times I'll just flip through the book, and see if I can work in what I've found.
