How to highlight a rooms focal point without breaking the bank…

A feature wall is a great way to create a more defined space in an open plan area as well as highlighting a room’s already existing focal point.

Our interior designers that we work with tell us it can also provide a great opportunity to experiment with colour and pattern in a room; feature walls can be high impact with bright and bold colours, but also consider a subtle pattern or colour scheme that will inject just the right amount of interest to a room without overwhelming the space.

We’d love to see what you have done with a feature wall in your home, please share your photos with us!

Perfect Pillows

The Interior designers we work with recommend to always have at least two pairs of pillows as one just looks plain skimpy. Use contrasting colours, textures and patterns to really lift and accentuate your sofa.

The bigger, the bolder - the better! Not to mention how comfortable they will be.

Why are mirrors a must-have in the home?

The Interior designers we work with adore large mirrors because they add scale to a room, they brighten up entryways and hallways by catching and reflecting natural light.

Opt for a crisp white mirror for added brightness, consider the shape (oval, round, rectangle etc) and positioning (portrait, landscape, to the side of a shelf or centrally positioned above a shelf) before you start hammerings nails into your perfect walls.
