World on the Horizon: Swahili Arts Across the Indian Ocean is currently at the National Museum of African Art, Smithsonian Institution. This video exploration includes comments from Allyson Purpura, Krannert Art Museum's Senior Curator and Curator of Global African Art, who co-curated the exhibition with Prita Meier of New York University.

KAM publishes groundbreaking catalogue on Swahili Art. World on the Horizon features 18 essays by leading scholars and artists, in addition to never before published photos of works from the National Museums of Kenya and Bait al Zubair in Oman. The exhibition is in its final month at KAM before going to the Smithsonian National Museum of African Art.
