We came in just before they stopped serving lunch. A wonderful Squash Soup and Quiche full of vegetables. But save room for the cheesecake. The best ever. Creamy, with a delectable crust and local blueberry sauce over the top.

We had a well-made burger with good bread and fresh vegetables. Delicious home made fries! A very familiar and friendly atmosphere, so we decided to spend the whole day in Boonville and take part at the traditional Thursday trivia, eating a big bowl of fresh salad, rice and meat. Very nice place!

I have been eating at Lauren's for a few years now, every time I visit my dad who lives in a nearby town. He took me there probably 7 years ago, and I have looked forward to my visits double fold ever since. Lauren does not have food that is prissy, it is not full of itself and does not pretend to be anything that it is not. Simply put, Lauren makes amazing food which is always beautiful and always fresh. I have never had anything there that I did not enjoy. This is easy to achieve, mainly because if she can find it locally, it goes into her food. Knowing that the mushrooms in my pasta, or the tomatoes that are in the salsa fresca topping my corn cakes are garden fresh from that morning even, just makes the food even better. Oh, and considering that the Anderson Valley is seriously good wine country, do not even consider an alcohol free evening. Their wine pairing suggestions are always amazing. So all and all, eat at Lauren's. You won't regret it.
