Thinking ahead: the less competitive atmosphere of spring / summer leagues allows many teams and players to "experiment" with different players and positions.

Rec hockey players, how do you train for games?
Everyone shows up to win. But recreational hockey players who regularly train bring a performance edge to their game.

Thanks to Sportsnet for such a great piece on the Toronto Gay Hockey Association.
Gay Hockey Association Making Statement. Over the weekend, Sportsnet aired the following feature story showcasing the Toronto Gay Hockey Association. After being formed in 1991, the TGHA has grown to 160 players and is now the largest gay hockey league in the world.

With Puck App, we make sure every game has two goaltenders and lots of fun!
Never play “posts” again! CARHA hockey is excited to partner up with a Toronto based start up that is setting out to solve a problem only hockey players would understand. The problem is that there aren't enough hockey goalies to meet the demand of hockey games being played.
