Diary of a Divemaster on Nusa Lembongan
Time is running fast when you are having a great time and that has been unfortunately so true for me. After the first three weeks of my Divemaster training on Bunaken, I really was not ready to leave for Nusa Lembongan. It was not easy all the time, I have learned a lot from my instructors Markus and Dion. Neither of them given up with me, even when I gave them hard time. Like during my first attempt to guide the night dive I kicked Markus on the head so many times he spent the next morning searching the internet for a suitable helmet. When I finally got on the boat to Manado there might have been some tears of sadness (or relief from Markus and Dion). But joking aside I loved diving and living on Bunaken, it was an amazing stay and I will always remember the amazing people I met. Thanks again guys.

PADI Divemaster Training For Our Lombok Staff
PADI Divemaster training is about to commence for our two Staff Mr. Munahir (or Moon as most know him) and Mr. Ipan, and we wish them every success!

They are both ready but also a little nervous as it is going to test some of their weaker areas such as physics, physiology and their general English skills, but we have every confidence that they will succeed.

Happy Birthday to Two Fish Divers Amed!!
The time has flown by but amazingly today marks one year to the day since we opened in Amed - so Happy Birthday to Two Fish Divers Amed!!

Our soft opening last year turned out to be not so soft - we arrived with all the staff and equipment at 3pm to start setting up the centre and by 4pm we had our first guest! And since then we've gone from strength to strength.

Painted frogfish on a super macro hunt
This week in South Lombok our favourite find was this little painted frogfish running around on the sand! It has not been the best week for the visibility but that has not stopped the boys going on a super macro hunt, and Alice from the U.K. joined us for a few dives to help in the hunt!

We can now make you into a Technical Instructor
2017 is off to a fantastic start at Two Fish Tech. Our Tech Instructor/Manager Yvonne recently passed her TDI Instructor Trainer Course and is now TDI's first (and only) female Instructor Trainer in South East Asia. This means that we are now able to offer technical instructor courses at our Amed, Bali centre.

We can run technical instructor courses at any time of the year with varying durations starting from 2-4 days. So if you are a diving instructor and a technical diver and are interested in teaching tech courses then you can become a technical instructor whenever you want!

When is the best time to visit Nusa Lembongan?
Many people ask us at Two Fish what is the best time of the year to visit Nusa Lembongan. As locals who live here there is no clear answer to this, because it depends on what you are looking for. Do you want to have sunshine all day long? Do you want to avoid the crowds? Or do you want to see mola molas or mantas?
Every season on Lembongan has its particular charm and only you can decide what's suits you best. Hopefully, this overview will help you to choose when to visit our special island.
