Customer Support Advisor £18,000 per annum (Somerset)
Our client a document consultancy and management company are looking for a Customer Support Advisor to join their Customer Service team. This is a permanent role and offers scope for progression it also offers salary increases through successful performance reviews within your first 3 months and throughout your employment.
The Role.
Reporting to the Customer Support Manager you will be responsible for maintaining customer relationships on a daily basis, monitoring customer activity, positively communicating company -wide decisions and changes whilst ensuring benefits are understood, resolving customer queries and reports. You will also report faults to technical teams, resolve customer billing queries, manage customer issues and complaints.

The Candidate
Previous experience in front line customer service, Minimum A level or equivalent standard, some face to face customer care is essential.
You will also be able to demonstrate the following abilities:
• Team Player
• Deliver correct information to the right audience when required
• Build good rapport with customers in line with their and company expectations
• Handle and control difficult or challenging situations when or if they arise

Other qualities for this role are excellent verbal and written communication, accuracy, organisational skills, initiative, enthusiasm and confidence in the role.

You will be responsible to identifying and resolving reported issues on bespoke in-house suite of software’s customer configuration templates along with enhancing these templates according to customer specification. Working in a fast paced time critical environment.
Candidate requirements:
Have a good understanding and knowledge of software systems, have A level or equivalent with Grade C or above in English, Maths and Science.
You will be able demonstrate the following abilities:
• Efficient and able to work in a fast paced environment
• Able to work on more than one task
• Work to tight deadlines
• Able to plan, control and organise own workload/ activities
• Learn and understand new software system
• Work well as part of a team.
• Evidence strong technical and analytical skills
• Communicate and relay information clearly

The Role:
Investigation and remedy of any faults within the bespoke in-house suite of software application, installation and configuration of software, identifying hardware/ software issues and escalation to Support Manager. Producing and maintaining succinct log activities, providing enhanced technical support to the 1st line Support team. Working to internal and company procedures and process.
Candidate requirements:
Have an interest in technology and software packages, ideally you will have minimum one year commercial experience, have A level or equivalent education with grade C or above in English, Maths and Science. Some experience in Windows Operating Systems as well as use of Excel, Word, Outlook.
You will be able demonstrate the following abilities:
• Efficient and able to work in a fast paced environment
• Able to work on more than one task
• Work to tight deadlines
• Able to plan, control and organise own workload/ activities
• Learn and understand new software system
• Work well as part of a team.
• Evidence strong technical and analytical skills
