I had a great time at the Motorcycle Class here. The classroom time was mostly a waste of time (what took three hours could have been condensed into an hour), but the 10 hours on the course were well spent. I had never been on a motorcycle before, and the lessons had good pacing where I felt constantly challenged but never overwhelmed. The instructors were all great people and very helpful. I would definitely recommend this place.

My wife and I took the scooter class together. She is a new rider and I wanted to refresh my riding skills. The instructors (Tim and Henry) were extremely professional, courteous, fun and were very clear in their instruction; great teachers. We had a fun day and Ride Chicago made it happen! My wife passed her written with a 100% and made no errors on the riding exam (and praise from the DMV examiner!)

I learned a great deal from the Ride Chicago instructors and had a great time doing it. I highly recommend Ride Chicago to anyone who is going to ride a motorcycle. The courses and exercises are well thought out and executed. I liked getting immediate feedback and additional instruction if needed with each pass of an exercise so that I could immediately improve. Both the staff and riders I met were a lot of fun and made the whole experience great!

Just finished my course today, the staff was absolutely amazing. The class room session is taught really well and prepares students perfectly for the two days of riding. The bikes they use for the riding portion are all in great condition. The instructors are very patient and offer a lot of good real world riding advice. Both riding instructors gave the class their personal cell phone numbers for any help with gear, bikes, and general advice. One of them even offered to come along for used bike purchase to make sure beginners don't get swindled (the only charge is pizza and beer! My kind of guy!). I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS COURSE AND RIDE CHICAGO TO ANYONE LOOKING TO LEARN HOW TO PROPERLY RIDE A MOTORCYCLE! THANKS!!!! RIDE CHICAGO!! IT WAS A BLAST! SEE YOU WEDNESDAY FOR THE RIDING TEST!

Ride Chicago is great! I give 5 stars for the instructors and the content of the class, but had to lower it a little bit for the weather policy. The class is rain or shine, and on the day I took the class, it was in the 40s, windy, and raining the whole six hours we were outside. The instructors do the best they can to keep you warm & even hand out extra sweatshirts & rain coats/pants, but it was REALLY cold to be outside for that long. Even with the rain gear, I was soaked down to my socks and underwear and my fingers and toes were numb. The rain was good driving practice and if it had been warmer it would have been fine, but know that if it's cold AND rainy, you will be miserable. I think you can reschedule for a $25 fee, and I definitely recommend doing that if the weather is bad. Other than that, it was a great experience! I wish I would have taken the class before I bought my scooter. It would have been a lot less scary driving it home!

As a new rider, I thought the intro class was great. They were very helpful getting you set up on the bike and getting you comfortable with all the different controls. The classroom session was also fairly useful and interesting. All of the instructors were very friendly and I had a great time both days riding. Will definitely look at doing the intermediate riding class once I get settled with my bike!

I got a wild hair one day to learn how to ride. I had never ridden before and knew no one else that did. When I found Ride Chicago, there were plenty of classes to choose from. So finding one that fit my schedule was easy. I learned a lot of practical riding tips and techniques that the I.M.O.M. never mentioned. The ride-days were an incredibly fun experience. All trainers were critical and truly cared about making you the best rider possible; all while maintaining a very stress-free, joke-filled environment. Four days after I started with Ride Chicago, I had my license and a 2014 Triumph Street Triple. I couldn't be happier with Ride Chicago and am looking into the intermediate class.

I took the basic licensing class. Excellent instruction. Tim, Brad and Jay kept the fun balanced with serious instruction. Now I have more confidence in my riding ability. If you're self taught (like me) you might be surprised to find out that there are better/safer ways to do things.
