Collaborative education for Green Building and Sustainable Construction
Introduction

(AES) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization with a mission of “Working collaboratively to provide awareness, education, and access to sustainable building resources for individuals, experts, and leaders to encourage sustainable choices.”

AES was founded in 2000 by a dedicated group of community members who saw the need to help our community create a sustainable city; to ensure that our children and our community would have a healthy, safe and affordable environment within which to live and grow. They felt the best way to contribute to the sustainability and growth of our community was to bring expertise in green building practices and green products by training homeowners, architects, designers, builders and other stakeholders in the construction industry sustainable building principles.
