As a Diamond Hilton member I stay in a lot of Hilton's. On a whole there is a lot to like about this hotel; location, staff and new lobby. But the rooms are still lacking (I am not sure if the room I stayed in was renovated yet). I could feel the springs in the matters (not at all up to Hilton standards). But again, the staff here are all very well trained and helpful. If the rooms get renovated I this would be a 5 star review.

Mr. Henson, Thank you for providing a review. I ma very sorry to hear about the uncomfortable mattress... To respond to your comment, we have not completed the guest room renovation. We are releasing 1 - 2 floors of renovated guest rooms every month. We hope you can return in the near future to experience our amazing new rooms.

-The rooms smell smoke (we tried 2 rooms) -No cooler in the rooms -No minibar -No bathrobe just the towels -Breakfast?.. Forget about it. They have just 10 tables in breakfast room for all hotel on 14th floor. Just one employee is working but honestly he is really work good (04/17/2016) -No electric outlet left side of the bed. + comfortable very good pillows + comfortable mattress +valley service +lobby We just came from NY to stay this Hotel for three night.But..The rooms smell smoke. We changed room but others same. They try to hide smoke smell to use Febreze but still smell smoke. If you hate smoking like us we don't recomend this Hilton. They are saying non smoking room but smell smoke.

I am so sorry you found your guest room unacceptable. I can assure you that is not the standard in our hotel. We work hard to make sure our housekeepers keep each and every guest room and bathroom clean; my apologies. We are in the process of renovating all of our guest rooms which will have a very modern and contemporary design as well as plenty of outlets to charge your devices. We hope you will give us another opportunity to earn your loyalty. I hope you consider staying with us again. We’d love to have you as our guest to ensure you have the best travel experience ever. Regards, Ned

Came to the hotel to meet up with friends and escape the relative boredom that is Raleigh. On an awesome Saturday my friends and I sidled up to the bar and grabbed a number of awesome cocktails. Not empty and definitely not too crowded. The bartenders were friendly and engaging and we were able to get food at the bar as well, which was quite good including the pate. I went with the Infinite Sadness, which is quite the opposite. Probably one of the best cocktails I've had anywhere. The rest of the bar list is quite extensive and recommended. Looking at the other reviews here it looks like on my return trip to this hotel I'm gonna have to hit up brunch...

Really poor front desk staff. After 10 frustrating minutes, the manager had to step in to check me in. Rooms are old and dated. I know they are going through renovations, but would stay at another location in the future. On the upside this is where Obama stayed during his last visit to LA. I have stayed here twice. Nice and attentive hosts on executive lounge.

If you're trying to find a really great deal on this amazing hotel I'd highly suggest booking it through HotelRaven. Com They have great deals for it on there! Such a perfect place don't have enough great things to say! Have been a guest here for the better part of 4 months now, and this place has been great! The hotel and staff have been very accommodating, and my biggest compliment goes to the Valet guys out front! While I use the self-park, the Valet guys always recognize me and speak...makes it feel a bit like home! My morning isn't complete until I have my daily conversation with Maurice...what an outstanding representative of the Hilton name. Restaurant has a small menu, but the food is good, and there are several good restaurants within a short walk. My only complaint would be the fact that there are not ice machines on every floor...minor inconvenience for an outstanding hotel.

Stayed in an "executive king" room. The hotel felt old. No mini fridge for storing leftovers and the like. It was clean though, just expensive even considering the area.

Friendly staff, parking is annoying (small spaces). Great price for what you get.
