They banned phthalates in kids' toys and other items in 2000... Interesting.  U.S. just did that this year.

Thanks. There have been a few questions raised about these findings and whether the results of looking at GP figures are in line with other sources of information on autism prevalence/incidence.

Edison Gene: ADHD: Gifted & Creative

Excerpt from the introduction to "The Edison Gene".

This place is on a level with the Carnelian Room in San Francisco with regards to the food. Outstanding. The "Cajun Meatloaf" featured a powerful floral aroma of black pepper without the expected kick in the teeth from overseasoning. The butterscotch and banana pie was to die for, and yet barely sweet enough to qualify as desert. Food is served very late, so if you find yourself hungry in Seattle late at night you would do well to check this spot out.

Avoid! This is a glorified Sizzler dressed up and charging as much as a real steakhouse. "Aged Prime" my foot. Their flagship steak was $30 for the plate, was like eating a shoe, and came with a microwaved potato with some fixins. Tourist trap.

This is definitely NOT a four-star hotel, as it has been billed by several sites. That said, it is fine for what it is: an upscale Motel, ala most Courtyards. Rates are not bad for what you get and the area.

I've shown up here 3 times recently. It's a very cool, very British Pub experience. (I have lived there on multiple occcasions.) However, the food is freaking outstanding! And so is the Service. I like greasy Yorkshire Pudding as much as the next bloke, but tonight the dinner special was Anaheim Chiles stuffed with Cotija and Chorizo. Last time, it was a Pork Sandwitch like I've never had, All I can say is that it is an awesome spot and I think the Chef is going places.

Nice for price, but OFF-GRID. The rooms and service are excellent for Orange County, but if you need connectivity for work, forget it. GSM cell coverage is horrible and the hotel's Internet access doesn't help: You are sharing a single 12Mbps home link with the entire hotel and the Wi-Fi coverage is minimal/ill-conceived. If they upgraded their Internet access, I would stay frequently, but I can't afford to be this disconnected.
