Story
Tagline
Roller Derby vagabond.
Introduction
I became involved on the ground floor of the sport's history, working with the Mad Rollin' Dolls, Madison, WI, arguably the 4th league to skate publicly.

Though I'm best known for announcing and managing tournament/event announcing, I am a full-time employee of Brown Paper Tickets. A former travel sponsor, they hired me full-time in 2010. My role? To help derby thrive in whatever ways I feel best suited to do so. It can be to help improve announcing, and often has been, but is not beyond guest coaching, helping leagues plan tournaments, managing all parts of announcing at tournaments (prior to and during), creating training materials on business functions...whatever is needed. Not all at once, necessarily, but chunks at a time. Learn more about what I do at http://community.brownpapertickets.com/Doers/derby.html
Bragging rights
Survived, almost thrived, then took my shot to dive out of Corporate America. I couldn't go back to cubes and suit coats. Have called more bouts in more places than any derby announcer. Have amassed more knowledge about and contacts within the sport than I could have ever imagined. I have derby friends world-wide.
