The hipster inside of me loves this place.. Their gin is amazing and that is what they are known for; and their cheese and meat plate is the perfect appetizer. Also the place is laid back and chill and has a boutique feel to it. Definitely a go to place to grab a couple of drinks and some appetizers.

I was excited to try this place out....but it fell short. I was not impressed at all. I went on a Saturday afternoon and my first thought was to sit outside since it was such a beautiful day. I changed my mind after seeing how small and claustrophobic the patio area was. So we went inside and yet again I thought this place is tiny, but the friendly door guy told us there was seating around the corner. At first I was sort of like this is cute, but then as we sat there we realized it wasn't really cute, but just different. Not necessarily in a good way. I just can't help but to compare it to other places I've been to and although it was different it didn't really do anything for me. The couches weren't that comfortable and the service was rather slow. We really wanted a Pina Colada and I enjoyed mine, but my friend was excepting it to be a little bit creamier. My other friend wasn't that impressed with her drink either (can't remember which one she got). The most disappointing part was the burger. It had no flavor at all. I actually didn't even finish it cause it wasn't worth the calories. The best part of our entire visit was the fries. I thought they were delicious! I probably won't be coming back here, but Logan Square is such an up and coming neighborhood and I can't wait to venture and try other places.

I thought it was decent, but was disappointed by my burger. It was not very hot -- which may have been the server's fault. However, she was, I think overworked with too many tables or something. I also thought it was really noisy -- but I know that for some people, that is a plus as it gives the place a lively vibe.

Liked how dark it was and the decor was cool but this place is too loud. My friends and I had to shout at eachother. Drinks and food were fine. Nothing to write home about.

A Gin-Focused Cocktail bar with delicious food and a cool atmosphere. At midnight, they walk around and even give you warm, melting chocolate chip cookies for free. It's a cocktail bar, so handcrafted cocktails are normally 12 dollars or more, but the taste deserves the price. The food is amazing. Their pulled pork sandwich is a definite try. The bar is split into two spaces with the backroom decorated with old fashioned turn of the century decor and furniture. Low-lightening adds a speakeasy vibe. One of, if not my favorite bar in Chicago. It's just cool.

Scofflaw is a little cocktail bar tucked away on Armitage Ave in Logan Square. Its dark interior offers a cozy escape to a world filled with gin. The couches and fireplaces make you feel like you're relaxing at home. The extensive menu with fancy cocktails make you feel like you're not. Either way, Scofflaw has a laid-back and chill vibe and it's definitely a great place for drinks with friends.
