Full-time Nomad/traveler, cyclist, hiker, healthy eater, retired software engineer, Boston Terrier mom, married 29 yrs, UNC-CH grad
Grew up in Raleigh, NC. Attended Fred Olds elementary school, Washington 6th grade center, Daniels Jr. High, and Broughton High School. Graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill in 1983 with BA in Psychology. Attended graduate school in Clinical Psychology for one year at UNC, then left to pursue a career in computer science. Received a Post-baccalaureate certificate in Computer Programming from NCSU in 1988. Became a telephony software engineer and worked for Nortel in Research Triangle Park, NC for most of my career. When Nortel went bust, hired on with Genband in May 2010. Retired at age 50 in August of 2011 and moved to Belize for 18 months. Now back in the US traveling full-time, cycling, and loving life!
So far in 2014 (as of October 20), I have ridden over 7000 miles (outdoors) on my bicycles!
