Hi, I am a beginner to ros and I am trying to publish messages to cmd_vel with the joy_teleop package. The problem is this: in the code it says this: Generic joystick teleoperation node. Will not start without configuration, has to be stored in 'teleop' parameter. See config/joy_teleop.yaml for an example. Problem is I can't figure out what params I need to give it and I can't discern what I need to pull from the yaml file. Could someone please s...

What do you think of the Alinco DX-SR8? I was thinking of getting one as a starter radio for getting into HF.

My suggestion is to narrow your search to two or three rigs, read the specs and reviews and base your decision on your needs. Consider buying a used rig and save a few dollars. You can always sell it later and buy something else if you're not happy.

I have a lipo that long story short is now at 5v. It is a 3s 4500mah battery. Is there any way to get it back to its native 11.1v or do I just have a $50 piece of junk?

+Andrius Narbutas Don't be silly - the article references LiIon, the voltages are slightly different (2.75 and 4.2 volts, respectively, I believe) but the same principle of anode/cathode ablation and copper ion redistribution when over-discharging still applies. The net effect is to drastically reduce the battery's C rating to an unknown value, or worse, cause an internal dead short when the battery goes above a certain temperature. +Andrius Narbutas I have nothing against you, I just want to show to you that this is not safe, I used to think the same way but the scorch marks on my last house's garage wall proved that wrong.
