This week, the Orlando Health Corporate Safety Team partnered with the Florida Department of Health in Orange County’s Zoonosis team to make the environment safer for our moms at Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women & Babies. They deployed fish into Lake Beauty that eat mosquito larvae, which could ultimately help stop the spread of mosquito-borne illnesses like Zika.

New blood pressure regulations from the American Heart Association may impact whether or not you qualify as having high blood pressure. "The new guidelines do not alter the treatment recommendations, but focus the treatment on those patients at risk earlier in the disease process," says Mark Steiner, MD.
