It's Good Friday. I am not religious but the change of seasons is something primordial and a time to celebrate. This piece that I made several years ago for a public exhibition was about this change. This is a solid Ice Egg about 52 cm high and contained about 35 litres of water. It took some 72 hours to melt.

The more I walk around this city (Brussels) the more extraordinary I find it to be. This building is five minutes from the European Parliament!!! The contrast that exists here, 'cheek by jowl', is at times breathtaking. One other small observation: not so new me thinks.... ;-)

+Tim Grosvenor this is one of my favorites of your work I've seen recently.  It's intriguing. I think I would stand in front of it for a while and try to decipher it. It's also very melodic.
