+mister ligi was making some aerial photos of insects with me today - I think +Helge Kopter will like one of those ;-)
Had the chance to test the Pirate-Eye while making this photo - this is an awesome monocular video goggle system - 2 times better than my eye-top system, but unfortunately for 3 times the price - so I will stick to my eye-top and wait for +Project Glass as my next monocular preview system ;-)

the landscape mode for launcher and lock screen which came with 4.1.2 for my nexus7 works way better with my mount on the RC ,-)

my camera mount
here a detail picture of the camera mount which could be seen in the background of the picture in the last post. features Nick and roll compensation and a 5.8 Ghz sender with a circular antenna
This mount belongs to +Project Voyager UAS and is mainly for Photo - I use it with a Cannon Ixus 80

this is an aerial picture of the church besides the place ( the house to the right ) I was staying the past 2 weeks - hope I get a better sleep from now on - the bell was ringing way too often and way too loud for my taste ...

optimized the weight of my RC a bit by removing all the old 35Mhz debris and using a very light and transparent cover from old packaging material to the openings
