Although a couple of months have passed since Cambodian's celebrated New Year, our experience in Svay Sisophon (N-W Cambodia) is still pretty fresh in our minds. Eating, drinking, games, pagodas and dusty streets were the theme and of course spending time with a wonderfully generous and warm Khmer family who opened their house up for us to come and celebrate with them.

If you ever have the opportunity to go and participate in cultural, family or social activities when in Cambodia, I highly recommend taking up the offer. You never know what kind of experience and adventure you will be taken on.

Khmer New Year is a big deal. It's like Cambodia's version of Christmas, New Year and Easter holidays combined with more food and more parties. Seriously. Khmer New Year (or Chaul Chnam Thmey) alig...

I write about our experience riding through Battambang over Khmer New Year.

As Khmer New Year (KNY) fast approached it became quite clear from speaking with people who suggested Phnom Penh would be quiet during the festivities. Not wanting to miss out on what KNY is all ab...

Although the “Totalitarian Tourism in Phnom Penh” title isn't correct for the content of the article in my opinion, it is still another great piece from Vice. Interviewing Mu Sochua on the current status of Cambodia.

If you've ever worn clothing from brands such as Adidas, Calvin Klein, Clarks, H&M, Levi's, Macy, Nike, Old Navy, Puma, Reebok, The Gap and Wal-Mart & many more then this is relevant to you.

Want to automate your workflow better but not sure how? Grunt is the answer! Admittedly I didn't know much about this powerful tool either, but CSS maestro +Chris Coyier explains the basics perfectly in yet another awesome article on 24ways.

If you don't mind a few F-Bombs in your pep talks then this article might just do the trick! The key takeaway—accountability & patnerships.

Yesterday we explored one of the many abandoned villas of Kep. This one was particularly impressive with intricate vines that enveloped the rear of the house.

I really enjoyed this article on Shan state in Burma. It highlights the problems that still exist there. Problems that are often ignored in articles that sing praise of the so-called reforms.

We drank rice wine, talked about war, and listened to Neil Young covers with one of Burma's largest rebel armies. http://bit.ly/1cBsjhZ

An awesome read about the perspective of time and how your choices can impact the time of other. It has an Interaction Design focus, but certainly can be applied to other fields.

The title says it all really.

‘Salesmen’ go around the world to try and pitch what will become of the NBN under the Coalition government, and the results speak for themselves.

Is this a joke?

Finally an article that covers the real power of Labor's vision for the NBN: Upload speeds!

I love the phrase *“game-changing infrastructure”*—as that is exactly what the NBN is (or should be). We need more forward thinking discussions like this rather than trying to tack-on current needs to future technologies.
