Athens for me was definitely one of the places I know I could live in. If you ask me it has it all, history, modern areas, beaches, lovely lively neighbourhoods, amazing food and orange trees. Orange trees are stars of Athens, you can see these orange beauties growing by the sidewalk in the streets. Just looking at them brought me so much joy, they serve as a reminder of the amazing climate we're in and colourful friendly culture. One day when I finally decide to settle down and have a house two thing on my list of a perfect home town will be orange trees and a beach.

I got the idea of going to an island while I was staying in Zlatar and it actually started snowing in the beginning of October. I realized then that I was not ready to say goodbye to summer just yet, so I booked the plane ticket and a hotel and set off to Mykonos a few days later. To be fair I didn't know much about Mykonos except that's it's very pretty, I also thought the name of the island sounded exotic, I know, not the best way to pick a destination, and so there I was on an island in the middle of October. And it was the best idea ever, come on, October in a bikini, doesn't get any better than that.

Uvac flows between mountains Zlatibor and Zlatar where the canyon of the river creates magnificent meanders. The meanders are like a maze that in some sections turn at the angle of 270 degrees. Looking from above the zig-zagging of the emerald green water leaves you in the awe of the power of nature. It is truly amazing how the crystal clear water reflects the surrounding hills, trees, clouds and creates a magical play of colors and movement. The scenery is utterly surreal!

I've decided to extend my productivity week by another 2 weeks, but this time in Zlatar. Nothing makes me more productive and at peace than a mountain, forest and an amazing view. Zlatar is not very touristy location, that is why you're really able to see how the locals live. There're many farms in the area, you will see herds of sheep and cows at almost every hill, which is something I enjoyed a lot. Read more about this visit on the blog.
