Upscale American tasting menus from chef Daniel Humm served in a high-ceilinged art deco space.- Google
"The play on the black & white cookie is a nice touch to begin and end the meal."
"I highly recommend the 140 day old aged ribeye steak or the roasted duck."

More like a show than a meal. The inventive theatrics -- opening a wine bottle with red-hot pincers, serving a dish inside a container filled with smoke -- were crazy awesome and fun to watch, but almost so over-the-top they started to detract from the meal itself. Service was extraordinary and the food was of course delicious. As far as the 3-stars Michelins in NYC go, I think overall Per Se is a holistically better dining experience with higher-quality dishes, but Eleven Madison Park is a must-go for any NYC or tourist foodie.

I was last here in late 2012 but it has been my absolute most memorable dining experience to date. The food was incredible, service was outstanding. The presentation of each dish really puts this place over the top. One dish could come out presented as if you were at a picnic, the next could come out after a magic trick. Absolutely the best dining experience of my life.

Tip: Eleven Madison Park has been named one of the best restaurants in the world and is a fine dining and prix fixe experience that is truly memorable. Decor is upscale and service of even the bus boys and wait staff exceeds that of the waiters at many other restaurants. Reservations are a must.

I hosted my daughter's 30 th birthday in a private dining room upstairs. We selected a nine course menu paired with wine. Each course was divine! The restaurant is exquisite in every way! The Three Stars shine so brightly for a reason ...well deserved! Bravo!

Lousy phone service, had to wait more than 15minutes on the phone to be told to call tomorrow. Called next day, same story. There are better ways of handling a call than this. I do understand this is not representative of their food but it does affect the overall experience. I think for the ratings....mmm...they are probably hyped...they are not up to the standards of a 3 star Michellin conpared to many others below the rank.

Went here for lunch. The restaurant only has a tasting menu, which is 18 courses long. The mairte d personalized our experience by finding out your interests before you arrive and talks to you about them. This restaurant is the best in America for a reason.

This place is a rich-tourist trap. Offers nothing but a lot of show, and very little food. I've been to Michelin starred restaurants that serve puny dishes before, but never to one with dishes so unimaginative and dull. The worst of the worst has to be the tomato puree, which I believe was scooped out of some tin. We were asked for the whole table to choose between duck or the pork as a main. This led to the natural assumption that we are to expect a whole duck or pork. Instead we received a measly slice each. Practically pastrami at your local butcher's. As the person who booked the place and was excited to take my family there, I can say that I left the place quite embarrassed and had to apologise to the people I brought with me on this odyssey of unimaginative, unpalatable dishes. I hope this helps other people who might be blinded by the hype, as I was, to stay clear of this place...

15 minutes is too long to be held on hold. Why is there no call-back service or a better queuing system. I am sure this is not indicative of the overall customer experience in the restaurant but it does suggest a surprising lack of attention to the detail of the end to end customer experience. Very disappointed.
