Upscale American tasting menus from chef Daniel Humm served in a high-ceilinged art deco space.- Google
"The play on the black & white cookie is a nice touch to begin and end the meal."
"I highly recommend the 140 day old aged ribeye steak or the roasted duck."

Not having any expectations going to dine here I was pleasantly surprised. Had been trying to get a reservation for awhile and was finding it harder to get than Per Se! Hadn't realised at the time it had gotten higher ratings than Per Se. But going to both within the space of a week I felt the experience and food was more interesting and enjoyable at Eleven Madison. Quick tip, go hungry, the tasting course has a huge number of dishes. Even small plates add up after about the 15th one! But having said that the price was actually quite reasonable for this quantity, quality and inventiveness of the dishes. Again much more so than Per Se. As someone else mentioned Eleven Madison didn't feel the need to add supplemental charges on the tasting menu. Found the staff to be pretty easy going and not full of themselves, which is always nice at a high end restaurant. It was also interesting to have the kitchen tour as well, where we were served some shaved ice cones as we watched the staff go about their business. Amusingly, the goody bag given to you at the end of your visit contained some of the granola that we had in one of the dishes. It was pretty good for breakfast. 8) Do note that the tasting menu changes every quarter, so what we had has changed since we had the fall menu in 2015. And having only been once I don't know how many main stay dishes they keep through the seasons. So, a fun experience for high end dining.

One of my favorite restaurants ever. I love the creativity and presentation of every single item that was brought out. It gave me a feeling that food is not only great to eat, but fun to play with too. We also got to go back to the kitchen and had a drink made for us with liquid nitrogen. All in all I will never forget this experience and highly recommend everyone to go at least once!

Great restaurant! I feel bad not giving it the 5th star but with 3 Michelin stars and a $300 price tag it has set very high standards for itself. Not every dish was perfect although the preparation of caviar was perfect. Rivaled only by Per Se's 'Oysters and Pearls'. I can't say which is better. They were both unique and perfect. The rest of the meal however Per Se slightly out shines Eleven Madison Park. One thing that I appreciate is that Eleven Madison Park doesn't attempt to nickel and dime you into spending more by offering items with surcharges. Everything is included in the already top dollar price.

More like a show than a meal. The inventive theatrics -- opening a wine bottle with red-hot pincers, serving a dish inside a container filled with smoke -- were crazy awesome and fun to watch, but almost so over-the-top they started to detract from the meal itself. Service was extraordinary and the food was of course delicious. As far as the 3-stars Michelins in NYC go, I think overall Per Se is a holistically better dining experience with higher-quality dishes, but Eleven Madison Park is a must-go for any NYC or tourist foodie.

We went to Momofuku last Febuary, when it was horribly cold. It was in the negatives and we were pelted with snow. We got there about 45 minutes before the dinner rush and we're lucky enough to stand inside the enclosed entry. Each minute, the line got longer and longer. Locals and tourists alike were willing to stand in the freezing weather for a good reason... hot soup! The ramen and buns are so good here, especially when it's cold. The broth was full of flavor and the noodles were perfect. I ordered the chicken meatball buns. The fusion of east meets west was apparent here. The buns were filled with a generous sized chicken meatball, jalapeño, ice berg lettuce and a paprika mayo. Uhhhh YUM!

A unique dining experience with impeccable service. The drinks are fabulous and the ambiance is perfect. A younger clientele compared to other restaurants of this caliber.

Not what I expected. Then again, I have very high expectations. Del Posto, Colicchio & Sons, and even Soigne in Brooklyn have much better food and service. The dining room is very dated, the background music was just horrible, staff was attentive but as it got busier they were less friendly, and the banister was broken. Yes, it was.... Both sides. For a 3 Michelin Star restaurant you would think that the details matter to them. Also, what happened to the rest of the Baked Alaska????? A whole Baked Alaska is brought out, displayed, fired up, and they bring back 2 spoonfuls? What is up with that? Does anyone know where the rest of the Baked Alaska is? The couple next to us had it as well, and the rest of their Baked Alaska went missing, too. I would have preferred to take that home in an insulated bag instead of the dated granola. My boss went 10 years ago and also got the granola....smh. Very disappointing. Will never go back.
