i heard that they have one of the "best NY cheese cake" in manhattan, and totally agreed! creamy, fresh taste of cheese stays there, thanks to not-too-sweeten filling. and their products are not aggressively sweet comparing to other average NY bakers'. highly recommended to someone who's not used to eat super sweet cakes like

Really good food. Just let them know if you have any dietary restrictions. Otherwise the tasting menu is a total surprise. There are about a dozen items served. The service and presentation was great - like being at a live show. Make sure you budget time for a meal here - we spent like 6 hours for dinner. Really tasty granola to bring home. Drinks: - The Manhattan mixed table-side is fun to watch. - They cocktails are served nicely - with one large ice cube. Ambiance: - Really nice, airy space.

My boyfriend took me to Eleven Madison Park last weekend and the food was outstanding. $225 per person is quite expensive but the food was well worth it! Highly recommended

When it comes Michelin 3 star restaurants, it's all about the unique experience. 16 course of artistically crafted dishes, yet the surprises kept coming. The whole tasting menu is prepared in such an order that your taste buds could fully appreciate everything. The early courses (sea urchin, surf clam, little neck clam/Manhattan chowder, tomato confit w lobster), more or less had a hint of sourness (lemongrass, lemon/mint and other herbs) in them, but are quite refreshing to the tongue. Once your tasting sensation is awake, you may fully enjoy foie gras, black bass, ostrich egg(truffle w. butter milk), guinea fowl and age ribeye steak(or duck). Just as your taste buds start to feel a little saturated, a refreshing eggnog helps you to reset them before moving onto desert section. I go to Mich 1 star for innovative dishes, Mich 2 stars adds services, ambiance and decor on top of creativity. But for Mich 3 stars, it's the experience that's hard to describe in words. You just need to try it yourself to fully grasp. Gave it a four star because of 2 tiny little details/ or preferences. I personally do not like to start the meal with cookies/sweets, especially if it was followed by sea urchin. The apple brandy at the end was just too strong, don't think many people would enjoy 80 proof liquor after completing a 16 course meal. I requested a silver needle tea (one of the top-ten Chinese tea varieties, i was actually surprised that they had this), but the brew was mediocre and the tea itself isn't the finest. The waiter also mis-classified it to me as white tea (it's actually a kind of yellow tea), but you shouldn't worry too much if you are not a picky tea drinker who pays $600-700/lb for tea :) Nevertheless, it's top notch and close to perfection.

The greatest dining experience I have ever had in my life. Period. They were determined to make sure we left full and happy. 15 courses, 4 hours of happiness and glutteny.

We used to have dinner at 11 Madison Park before they changed it to a prix fixe 6 course dinner but last night was our first time under the "new program". There have been no changes to the spectacular space and we were guests at dinner for 10 upstairs in one of the private rooms........I must say, a little dank. Food is wonderful, as is service. We had lots to talk about and so we dictated the pace of the evening which lasted 4 hours and was delightful. The night was a celebration of our host's daughter's graduation from Yale and there were lots of toasts. We teased that the cost could have covered a semester of graduate school.

I went there couple times. Great environment/food! Good for groups/friends gathering. I love their foie gras and lobsters. That is the two dishes I won't miss each time I visit. Hey, did I mention their duck dish? Very juicy! Here comes the restaurant week; I m so coming back!

EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED!!! HAD HIGH EXPECTATIONS FOR THIS AND WAS LET DOWN. SERVICE WAS AVERAGE, FOOD WAS AVERAGE, TOTAL EXPERIENCE WAS AVERAGE FOR THE "BEST RESTAURANT" IN NYC. I HAVE NO IDEA WHY THIS PLACE IS RATED AS HIGH AS IT IS. ALTHOUGH WAIT STAFF WAS VERY NICE, OTHER WORKERS DIDN'T WANT TO BE BOTHERED TO HELP WITH COATS, DRINKS, AND MISC QUESTIONS/REQUESTS. TOTAL WASTE OF TIME. WASN'T CONCERNED ABOUT $$$$ OF MEAL BUT I WISH I COULD GET THAT TIME BACK TO EAT ELSEWHERE.
