What is this you ask? This my dears is the absolute most ridiculous tasting vegan fried chicken you've ever put in your mouth. It was created to entice a meat eater to give up his Popeye's chicken, and it is dead on delicious.

If you've make the Spicy Popeye's Style Vegan Fried Chicken, please RATE and post a REVIEW on the blog under the recipe.  You can also upload a photo of your creation.

Here is a great recipe for okra that you can try! Since the weather is warming up, okra is now in season and will be for the next few months. Enjoy this delicious, traditional Southern dish which includes fresh corn, fresh tomatoes and fresh okra. It is totally NOT slimy because it was cooked using the techniques I learned from my grandmother.

Hopefully this recipe will convert some of you okra haters into okra lovers like me!

I swear, you won't know there is no meat in this chili. It's even better the next day after the seasonings have had a chance to soak into the beans more. My Texas relatives who live and breathe chili were in awe. lol

Perfect for a filling lunch that won't weigh you down.

My masterpiece recipe - has the great flavor and crunch of an oyster po'boy sandwich but without the oysters. Topped with a spicy remoulade sauce, this is as authentic a po'boy as you will find anywhere.
