"How do you know the correct size of a furnace and air conditioner to install in my home?" This is a question we hear often... with a wide range of sizes (how many tons an air conditioner is and how many BTUs the furnace is) we take into consideration how many levels the home has, the number of registers, the number of windows, the square footage. This is all calculated and factored together to size the unit correctly. It is not always the same size as the unit that is being replaced, which is why it is so important to have a professional let you know which size would work the best for your home. Call today to have a free estimate for a new HVAC system. 937-938-7420

According to ACAAI (American College of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology) DAYTON, OHIO is ranked NUMBER 11 in the worst cities in the U.S. for allergies. They also expect that pollen counts will double by the year 2040.
With that being said, make sure to change your air filters regularly to help keep your indoor air clean, and consider duct cleaning if you have never had it done before!

Q: What does SEER rating mean on an air conditioner?
A: Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio. The higher the SEER rating, the more money you'll save on your energy bills. Think of it like the miles per gallon of gas your car gets-The more miles per gallon, the less gas you'll buy..... The higher the SEER rating, the less energy you'll use!

A Christmas poem that Vinny shared at the BNI networking group... They had to incorporate a poem or song in their speech this morning..... HAHA!
Twas the night before Christmas,
and all through the house
Not a creature was stirring
Not even a mouse.
The furnace was churning and churning with care
Thanks to good ole Preferred Heating & Air!
They install new furnaces when old ones are dead
change filters, fix problems, clean ducts over head.
When down in the basement arose such a clatter
I called Preferred Heating & Air to see what was the matter.
And what to my wandering eyes should appear
Preferred Heating & Air was already here!
They fixed my furnace and my air
They really perform their service with care.
And off they flew to another call
Of course, they exclaimed, "Merry Christmas to ALL!"
