So, my first time shooting a couple. I'll write more about it when I am done editing the rest of the pictures. Two absolutely amazing individuals.

After moving studio two times and mostly doing post production for others this year, I am finally shooting again!

End of the month I will work with Vienna State Opera Ballet's principal dancer Maria Yakovleva, as well as demi soloist Richard Szabo. Very much looking forward to those two. Next level!

(On a sidenote, I killed some social media channels, primarily twitter, and will pay more attention to the remaining ones now. Like google+!)

Test running my friend Marco Krenn's 20x24" polaroid camera today. It is quite the beast, from what I gathered there are only 10 in the world and working it is ridiculously complicated even for large format standards. Getting prints that size straight out of the camera was pretty stunning.

It will be part of the new Supersense shop that opens in a couple of weeks! Check it out if you can!

Two days ago my friend Casanova Sorolla did the most ambitious version of his Signapura project to date. Four ballerinas of Slovak National Ballet did the Danse de Petits Cygnes from Swan Lake, one of the most iconic choreographies in ballet. Over 2kg of natural pigment was used to trace their steps on 74sqm of 320gsm Hahnemuhle paper, the pointe shoes working together as a giant printer. A film team was there to capture everything at 100fps. Tomorrow we will fix it and capture the whole painting with a Phase One IQ280.

The preperation took months and the actual event lasted 1'40", the effort being insane. The picture will never sell, size alone makes that impossible. None of this makes any sense. But it goes to show that if you really want to do something, do it. Dream big and work hard. Doors will open.

Supposedly it is bad luck to talk about plans before everything is confirmed. Well, now it is.

Some stars aligned and I pretty much spontanuously decided to sell my retirement plan and some gear and go to Bali on November 30th. I'll stay there to surf until January. After I'll move to Phuket to train at Sinbi Muay Thai for 4-8 weeks, then come back to Vienna in Feb/March, depending on how money and health lasts. It'll be my own version of "Eat, Pray, Love", called "Surf, Fight, Whatever". Still figuring out the last one. If you want to go for a beer before I leave, 10 days to go!

Putting stuff from today's shoot on the computer. Beyond happy.

(...also, switched back to LR from C1. C1 is better imo but LR fits better into my workflow and doesn't crash.)
