Using PR Properly

Every company or organisation wants to make people more aware of what they do or events they are holding. Yet, finding time to write a press release for effective promotion, along with having a successful strategy in place can, for some, seem almost impossible. Well dont stress anymore because now help is at hand! The February JCI Mayo meeting will be focusing on just this topic.

Donegal-based Public Relations Consultant and owner of Outside The Box, Emma Boylan, will be providing an insight into effective public relations for events both online and offline. Some topics Emma will discuss: Media Relations; PR Strategy; Online PR; Creating a story along with also giving hints and tips on press release writing.

Interested? Then you might like to know when and where this event will be held.

It is taking place on Tuesday 24th of February in the GMIT Innovation Hubs, Castlebar at 7:30pm. Tickets are €10 and can be purchased at jcimayo.eventbrite.ie

GMIT Innovation Hubs are one of JCI Mayo’s patrons for the year so we will be able to hold some of our monthly meetings at this great venue. They are currently looking for participants to apply for their New Frontiers program. The program aims to develop entrepreneurs and is funded by Enterprise Ireland.

Based in Donegal, Emma Boylan has delivered workshops and training for many companies and organisations, some of which include the Chamber of Commerce, Women in Business, North West Skillnet and many more. Since starting Outside the Box in 2013, Emma has worked with a variety of companies improving their Public Relations and Marketing, both online and offline. She is also a regular guest speaker at Letterkenny Institute of Technology and also spoke at Culture Tech in Derry.

Are you interested in preparing the best Press Releases possible? Or would you like to have a better insight into public relations, whether it be online or offline? Then dont miss this February JCI meeting.

Good Morning. Time to get up and at it. In our travels with JCI, we are always meeting successful entrepreneurs and inspirational leaders. One major trait they all have in common is a drive to work and achieve their goals. Nobody says the key to success is the snooze button. #LeadByExample #AcceptTheChallenge
