Very disappointed. I can only speak to the purported "keratin" treatment I was "provided." If you care about your hair and want real keratin, do NOT go to this salon. According to my regular hairdresser, the stench of permanent solution remained strong on my hair one week after the procedure. The proprietor of the salon is personable and friendly. The service I received was completely awful. I colored my hair in June of 2014. In early July 2014 I had a keratin treatment at a salon in Philadelphia. Amazing, happy results and no damage. I live in Virginia, so in October, when it was time to have a second keratin treatment, I located Tresses in nearby Ruckersville (near Charlottesville). The one thing I forgot to do, which is very unlike me, is check the reviews. Please, please check the reviews before making an appointment at this place. Following the treatment I had in Philly, my hair was like a silk rope. Following the Tresses treatment, it was close to a nightmare. I cannot even wash my hair at this point, and my regular hairdresser gives me weekly treatments to try and heal my hair. Again, the color was in my hair prior to the first treatment in July. It's going to be ok, but I have been advised by several hairdressers under no circumstances to return to Tresses for this service. Frankly, I feel robbed. Please don't let this happen to you.

I am in the same boat as recent posters. So disappointed, because the idea of having very low to no carb bread is like a dream come true. I have now waited for more than three weeks. After about ten days I emailed and received a thoughtful, apologetic response. I appreciated that. I was told in that email that my order would ship no later than August 1. It is now August 8. Two days ago I emailed again, politely, and received no response. Emailed again, got a "form letter" response, explaining that my order would be filled within 14 days (this, after my order was already 13 days late). I am not giving up yet. I hope they will come through and that the bread will be good. In the meantime, I seriously encourage everyone to try and find a local/regional store that carries Julian Bakery Bread and buy it there. If I had known what trouble mail ordering would be I would have called ahead to a nearby city and if they had any in stock, I would have driven there to purchase. I agree with another poster that this company has one of the GREATEST ideas ever. There are so many people who are needing to eliminate carbs for various reasons and the bread is beyond welcome to millions. Julian could CLEAN UP but they won't if their customer service continues in this manner. In the email that was sent to me a couple of weeks ago, the writer explained that they did not anticipate such an enormous response. Fair enough, and if I must wait through an initial backlog, that is fine. But to ignore my polite requests for an update -- this is what is going to drive their business into the ground. If there are problems, just let me know, don't ignore your customers, especially when you already have their money!
